It works well for pain.

Same great product you can get in the brick & mortar store, same tube and packaging. It has a couple antibiotics plus a pain relief ingredient that REALLY works. I’ve been suffering from a few bites from some unknown critter. The bites vary in size, show up at odd times and in odd places, are red, and seem to have a center with gunk like a spider bite—with no evident spider. This first aid cream is magic! It has cut the healing time down considerably from the first experience when I didn’t have the antibiotic cream. Apply 2-3 times a day, sparingly. The bites feel like a deep bruise, but the pain ingredient deadens it immediately and lasts for a few hours with no side effects whatsoever. It also soothes any attendant itching on the surrounding/nearby skin. You can use this on open cuts and sores as well with no burning or discomfort. If you need a bandaid, just put a little dollop of cream on it and apply to the wound. It works its magic to heal under the bandaid. Depending on the severity of your injury, in a day or two, you can “fly” bandaid-free. So much better than ointment for keeping clothing and other items clean and grease-free. I couldn’t live a normal life without this stuff—really marvelous and makes me feel secure in the bathroom, kitchen, family room, the garden, the garage. I even keep a small tube in the car for any little emergency.

good enough for sores

Excellent for all types of wounds and infections. I use it all the time. I can't find another brand that has the same ingredients, otherwise I would use it!

I gave this only two stars because it claims to be a cream, which I wanted. I don't like greasy ointments. Well, this is greasy and closer to an ointment than a cream. In addition, it is hard to get out of the tube. The opening is miniscule and you have to press very hard to get it started, at which point way more than you need comes out. But hey, it might work for you. If you're okay with ointments and badly designed tubes, try it.

I searched for an antibiotic cream with a reasonable price. When I found this one I was happy because it said it was 5 ounces for $13. It was not! It was one half ounce. I tried to start a return but it is not returnable. I would have never paid that amount for a name brand much less a store brand. I don’t know how well it works. The one star was because it was very misleading. I think they should have to take it back because of that.
