Assembled in five minutes. Picks up balls well. As a ball stand, you need to handle with care but it is a decent quality product.

You need one of these, or something like it, even if you play semi regularly. It came in the mail very quickly and was really easy to put together. The construction is decently solid--I've had no issues with it yet. I do keep in in my trunk and sometimes the lid can get loose and some balls come out (but that's after many, many days and I'm not the most gentle driver). I don't think it'll be an issue for most people. Sure it can be a little tough to set it up--it requires a bit of arm strength to get it to stand up on the handles, but it's a reasonable amount of effort. Overall, I think it's a great product. It makes picking up your balls at the end really easy--almost fun. As an aside, I am in no way affiliated with this product or company. Just leaving an honest review in hopes that it's helpful. This Wilson tennis ball pick-up basket works well overall and definitely makes practice more convenient. It easily collects up to 75 balls, and the handles flip into a stand, which is a nice touch. That said, the frame feels a little flimsy — not terrible, but I wouldn’t expect it to last forever. I use it several times a week, and it’s holding up fine so far, but I’d guess it’ll make it through a few seasons before showing wear. Still, for the price and the convenience, it’s a solid purchase that makes practice time smoother and a lot less back-breaking.

I bought this for my daughter who frequents the local public tennis courts. Her small bag of balls was not cutting it! This holds a lot of balls and is easy to use to pick them up.

Let me tell y'all something, I’ve been playing tennis for 7 years and I’ve never seen something this bad of quality. Not even after two uses the handle bars came out…. Yes, you can put them back in but they don’t stay, so every time I pick it up, the bars will fall out. When you put the legs down and stand it up, it’s SO unsturdy. Like seriously, it wobbles so much and is just unstable. Another thing is how uncomfortable it is to hold. I get it, it wasn’t made for that, but it kills me to even carry the basket ten feet. Also, there’s this… ball.. on the top of the handles that’s in the way of carrying it. I have no idea what the function of it is but it’s not helping for what I can see. There’s so much more to this that I can’t even state in an Amazon review. DO NOT buy this. Get a more expensive one that will do better. This is the statue of “you get what you pay for”. Just don’t do it, don’t buy it for my sake. I have no idea why all the other reviews are good, but trust this one.

Nice design, easy to carry and set down as a basket. Holds many balls.

I had to order this item twice. For some reason I received a notification that this item was lost in the mail, and the second time, the item got lost again, but eventually it finally got delivered. I really loved it at first, but the metal used on this hopper is so thin and flimsy. The handles like to pop out of the holders, and you to switch it standing mode, you have to lock it into two hooks that gets a little irritating to release from. I use this hopper on a daily basis. First the top hatch is a bit irritating. I eventually left it off, except when transporting the hopper in my car to prevent the balls from falling out the opening. However, somehow the metal frame of my hopper warped and the hatch refused to lock. In the end, the welding and thin metal frame was this hopper's Achilles' heel. One of the tubes that the handles latch into fell off. I MacGyvered it back on and repeated what I did as a preventative measure for the other side, and dare to say, actually improved the hopper's stability. After, enjoying that fix for a month, the welding that holds the bottom fell apart. I could have spent more time on it, but decided to retire the hopper and picked up the Tourna Ballport Deluxe, which was a little more expensive but definitely worth the price. Not to completely trash on this hopper, it does it's job, and I may have just been unlucky, but mine lasted for a year before falling apart. For $30 that's not bad.

Worked well at first but the handles are secured to super thin bars with small welding, which will inevitably break, leaving you with a big piece of scrap metal. Not recommended.
