License Plate Frame Rear View Reverse Backup Camera Kit, Car Rover 170° Viewing Angle Universal Reversing Cameras with 8 IR Night Vision Waterproof LED 3 Parking Sensors for Vehicle

Had this license plate frame with built-in camera and backup sensors installed on my daughter's first car that we bought her as a surprise Christmas gift. Great quality and made of hard black metal which gives it a premium feel! We bought a separate rear-view mirror monitor and the backup image is amazing!! Crystal clear and night vision is bright! The proximity guides are so helpful and the audible alerts are an added bonus... To hear your distance from an object being called out in a loud clear voice is pretty cool! The backup sensors are excellent and proximity is accurate with visual distance shown on screen!Only flaw I noticed were mentioned by the installer... He didn't want to install the speaker in the car because it was really loud and there was no volume control. So he had to install it in the trunk where you could still hear it but just not at an ear piercing level. After having had it on for the last 3-4 weeks, it's working pretty well but the only other thing I'm slightly concerned about is it just recently rained in the last couple days and noticed that when I was backing up, the alert kept yelling out 'STOP!' which it usually says when you're less than 1-2 ft away and are about to hit something but there was absolutely no object in sight... Wondered if maybe water drops on the sensors were confusing the proximity so I wiped the sensors off with a paper towel and tried backing up again but it still kept saying 'STOP!'. Didn't think anything of it since the next night I drove out, I tried backing up again before I drove away and it worked fine but after driving in the rain later that night for about 30 min, it did it again when backing up into my driveway. So if not water drops, my worry is that the frame is not water resistant and it's malfunctioning or water is somehow affecting some part of the electronics that it's connected to. I'll post an update if conditions change or worsen. That being said, I'm still very happy with my purchase as overall it works incredibly well! Great safety product and very helpful for first-time drivers learning to park!!

It seems to be made of good materials.cable connections are screwed together so it don't come apart and labeling of the sensors individually is also nice.You will need to plan how you will be fitting all those wires coming out from the top of the plate and enter your vehicle. Drill a hole in a inconspicuous place. I went next to the light. The wires will be seen. After got it hooked up turned the key put it in reverse then I get a constant yelling STAUB STAUB STAUB! There is nothing near the rear of the car. Not sure of the camera quality cause at this point I don't want to go through the hassle of trying to hook it up just to find out that it might not work correctly. Tried it out a couple days and same thing so I removed it and bought the reverse sensors that drill through the bumper. I installed them on 4 of my other vehicles with no issues and I had it on for about 11yrs. Plus it was cheaper too.

People commenting it keeps talking/saying stop while driving, are using constant power, not power when the reverse lights come on. Camera is fair quality, short NV distance, no volume control but ok buried in back of camaro, distance measurement is very accurate, like the feature of showing which radar is being tripped and color distance marker, first one returned for a missing LED, replacement had same issue, I'm beginning to think 7 led, and one light sensor and just misprinted, no plastic screw caps like others ship to hide the screw heads in the frame, no huge deal breaker, this is not a "moving" camera the sensors work best at backup speeds, if you use it for driving rearview under speed the sensors all tend to freak out, not only on this unit. Rain is not an issue with the camaro, it's buried under the bumper on this car, most of these units do the same in the rain, just wipe off the camera and sensors on occasion.

Not hd, lines are not accurate to car so places you off. When rains no longer works. update, received replacement system to replace existing. Will beep STOP every time i back regardless if something is there or not. I adjust sensitivity and nothing happens, Also was missing a small screw that keeps frame together so possible this was a return item. I used old screw from initial frame but appears did not change anything. Several wires to run so a bit more elbow grease needed.

Metal frame feels tuff although I hate how it talks to you and rather it beep rapidly once coming to a closer object then having it tell me stay away mor then 3 feet 🤡

The parking sensors worked great, the camera however was DOA. I am a professional installer, tested everything with a spare camera and my spare worked. Sent back for a refund.
