I decided to buy some Bicarbonate of Soda to help with my spring clean and because members of my household get eczema. I really should have done my research first. The tub arrived as described, though I didn't weigh the contents. I used it to freshen up my carpets and used it in conjunction with White Vinegar (also ripped off at £4.00 per bottle by another company). Having gone through the entire (supposedly 1kg tub, which was about 2/3 full on opening), I thought it was a bit of expensive way to clean. Fast forward one week, I popped into my local hardware store, proper job, where I spotted, to my utter dismay and joy at the same time, a 1kg bag of Soda (yes sodium bicarbonate) for ONE BLIMMIN QUID!!! I can tell you now, I felt totally mugged off and robbed at that point, by Living Earth. Only to then note that the next item to it, was the white vinegar at £1 too! More fool me, for being a lazy bint, and not checking there first, like I normally would with other cleaning products. And, for the record, the 1kg bag for £1.00 filled this tub to the very top.

I decided to wait a few days before writing this review.This is a great big 5kg bucket of sodium bicarbonate. I have found this bicarb to be very good and I am happy with the bucket as it is very strong with a good seal on the lid too.This brand is suitable for cleaning and represents great value for money.I myself use this bicarb for cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, to wash my clothes (I don't use it on delicates though) and also to neutralise smells from my pets.I also often mix it with white vinegar and poor it in the sink. Let it act and there you go a shiny, unblocked drain.Bicarbonate Soda has hundreds of uses, and this product is excellent quality, inexpensive and multi-purpose.Happy to recommend.

Really good very fine powder but needs packaging better as my delivery driver got a good 9kg in the back of his van and the rest was in the box as tub had burst please rethink packaging or you will need to give out lots more refunds like mine other than that would be perfect for goofing, carpet fresh and deodoriser for cupboards and fridges this is food grade so not that salt type grains you get in wilko

I purchased this after reading about the cleaning uses of Bicarbonate of Soda in a book by the lady that wrote ‘A Bowlful Of Lemons’.It was delivered quickly and followed up by the seller with a brilliant PDF showing the many uses of Bicarbonate of Soda. Will definitely buy again.

Not food grade i used to use the small containers u get from superstore...but After they way too pricyn povided inconsistancy in their soda week to week i thought ill never buy fron them again...but here lo and behold a cheap and INFERIOR quality than the one i used to get...dojt waste ur money! Used to make homemade Bath bombs, did exactly as it was supposed to in combination with Epsom salts and citric acid. Fizzed like a dream. Doesn't produce any foam or anything (apparently I need sodium Laurel sulfoacetate for that) but this is a good amount for the price.Came very quickly and was sent an email with tips on how to use. Would buy again.

Brilliant, bought this to use as a general cleaner. I dry cleaned a carpet with it ( carpet was almost beyond hope) brushed it in, left over night, and just hoovered away all the stains. I cannot praise it high enough, no nasty chemical, great for deodorising anything , forget all those expensive brand cleaners and use this instead and some elbow grease.

Brilliant use it mainly for washing clothes, my son has special needs so we unfortunately still have a few little accidents and this has saved me throwing out some of his favourite clothes as it takes all smells away. Couldn't recommend more too for mattress, duvets and mats brings them back brilliant. Essential to every home!
