Came well packaged, and first tme trning on it was to temp in less than a minute, my old hot air rework station soldering iron was comical at best , but im looking forward to using this Weller as sooon as im able on a large Arduino project.

Fantastic kit for novice and professionals.

solid unit for most of your soldering needs...
Works fairly well. Its probably overkill for your first soldering iron/station (in terms of price) but should last a lifetime. The iron stand is heavy enough to provide for a sturdy base. The iron itself feels solid. The included tips are pretty big... I typically work on smaller traces and wires, I will need to buy a new tip. I don't like the standby feature... it has went in to standby mode while I was soldering, and also doesn't seem to know automatically when you are using it again to go out of standby. The Weller unit we have at my workplace works much better. Fortunately you can just turn the standby feature off. The screen looks super cheap, just a basic 3 digit display basically, and no backlight.

Buen diseño, el soporte del cautín es sencillo pero bueno. Las dos puntas que trae son para trabajo through-hole, para SMD hay que comprar aparte. La esponja no la usaré. Weller es una marca exquisita, espero que me dure para siempre.

It is 120V !
The typical Weller quality. The station is good and as described. However, to my astonishment, a UK amazon store sells US specs appliances! In other words, the package is made for US and 120V countries, it doesn't mention this fact in the product details. The attached table is a copy of the manufacturer specs table, but the seller removed the last entry, which states it is a 120V device. Very clever. Why on earth a UK amazon store sells devices that don't fit UK specs? And seller didn't mention that it requires 120V! Eventually, I had to buy a step down transformer.

My device just burnt the first time I used it. It is not mentioned anywhere that is a 120V ??

When I plugged the device it burnt
I ordered as mentioned unit and I paid full amount, but finally when I ready to use I plugged it, and it produced lot of smoke and now it’s not working, very bad service, I need to claim warrenty or I need refund asap, otherwise I’ll give bad reviews on social media.
