I recommend this book to nearly all my bodywork clients.
This book is great.I'm a massage therapist, in practice for 30+ years, and work with clients with a lot of complex pain and allignment issues and this is the book I've been recommending most often. There's not much that's original here - and that's fine. What there is, is a terrific, clear well-presented sequence that draws from a broad knowledge of the most essential practices for good alignment: presented - not just exercises, but as inquiries/experiments, that help a person not only strengthen muscles, but also feel and build neurological connections that build the awareness that's essential to establishing and maintaining healthy alignment.Highly recommended.

Definitive work on its subject.
I'm working my way through this book. It's the best treatment of the subject I've found, after having tried various approaches. Clearly written with good illustrations. One tip alone has helped me sit without pain or fatigue and improved my posture for sitting, standing and walking. I look forward to working through the rest of this and Williamson's other book, "Muscular Retraining for Pain-Free Living". These books belong in every health-care provider's library. I'm giving them to our primary care physician for Christmas.

Help is here
I have had lower back problems for months that acupuncture, chiropractic and massage have helped on a short-term basis. Yoga has been beneficial, but this book is even more specific to help with movements that can actually prevent the pain from recurring. I have only been working with the "explorations" and exercises for a short time, but I would definitely recommend it as a possible solution for anyone suffering chronic pain. Avoid surgery! Change your movement habits!

Amazing
I have gotten to met Craig Williamson and have a consult since I started reading this book and he is changing my life. I was convinced I was not going to walk with out pain again but he is helping me hone in on muscles that have been in a clenched position so long they just don't know how to let go!

Helpful tool
Really useful ideas on teaching posture. I use many of the exploration exercises in my yoga classes.

Good Book!
I found this resource to be helpful and quite informative. I would recommend it for anyone who needs help with chronic pain. Do keep in mind that what works for some may not work for all.

Recomended by friend
My New Year Resolution is to read and do the exercise's talked about, the little I have read so far shows great promise.

Yet another fine, well-presented book from Craig
Yet another fine, well-presented book from Craig. His clear writing style conveys the important aspects of anatomy in order for pain-sufferers to overcome or combat their issues directly.
