Delicious, Healthy Smoothie Recipes
I picked this book up because I have heard so much about healthy smoothies and how good they are for you that I wanted to try them out for myself. This book offers simple recipes that are healthy and delicious. The book is well organized - and is much more than just a smoothie recipe book. The author breaks down the benefits of fruits and veggies, the how and the why behind smoothies becoming so popular - such as the fact that scientist now recognize that smoothies account for 2 out of the daily target of 5 fruits and veggies. She even gives a helpful little glossary on understanding the terminology of nutrition experts.The recipes look and sound delicious and even they are well organized - from Morning Meals smoothies such as Berry Banana Breakfast Smoothie to Dessert Smoothies such as Banana and Chocolate Chip Pops. I can't wait to try these out on my family - my kids will not even know they are eating healthy!

too much suger
Sugar is not good for our bodies. Too many of these smoothies have either added sugar or ingredients high in sugar. I make natural smoothies with fresh vegetables and fruit, no fruit drinks (which are just sugary flavored drinks, not juices) . Even milk has added sugar...read labels. Big food manufacturers want us hooked on sugar...don 't help them out. Sweeten smoothies with fresh or unsweetened frozen berries. Sorry....I do not recommend this book.

Awesome and healthy choices made easy
This an amazing book. So many delicious and appetizing recipes for all different kinds of smoothies for all different times of the day. Truly great thing about this book as that the recipes are all made in a blender and therefore you don't lose out on the fiber that is so important if you were to just be juicing the fruits and vegetables. Have not tried any of the recipes yet, but rest assured I will be making a boat load over time. Another plus for Stacy's book are the te tips she explains regarding cutting up and freezing the fruits beforehand.

Good, but not great.
This just has the basics of Smoothies - no great ingenious recipes - though the frozen pops at the end look scrumptious and kid worthy. There is a listing of nutritional information - calories, total fat, saturated fat, protein, carbs, cholesterol and fiber - but it doesn't list the sugar content, which is disappointing to me. Luckily I purchased it during a Free Kindle offer which is why I gave it 3 stars. If I had paid over $20 for it, the rating wouldn't have been so high. Good, but not great.

Good Book for Smoothie Recipes
This book covers everything you need to know about making healthy smoothies. Among the topics it deals with are the benefits of eating fruits and vegetables and the best way to use your blender to make smoothies. Best of all, it gives you 85 delicious-sounding smoothie recipes. I also like that it provides nutrition information for each recipe. This is a good book to buy if you're looking for new ways to incorporate fruits and vegetables into your diet.

Informative & Deliciously Appeasing!
Very interesting information on the facts of what our bodies require health wise and how smoothies can provide everything we need within one glass. The different smoothies given had my mouth watering just reading the ingredients. I was impressed because it gave the calorie, carb, fat, sugar, etc.. count at the end of each smoothie. This will definitely be very useful when I get the urge to make a smoothie.

Great way to get your vegetables
This book covers everything you need to know about making smoothies. It even has a section on how to get the best out of your blender. It also covers a bit of nutritonal advice. And it has loads of wonderful sounding smoothies. Unlike a lot of kindle books I have been reading lately, you can tell the author has gone to a lot of time trouble to really make this book great
