Very thick, high quality
Be prepared this is very thick, which is very good in my opinion, but a solvent or other medium may need to be added to it to thin it if this does not work for your purpose. Refined linseed oil is made so that most of the impurities are taken out, and the chances of yellowing are greatly reduced.

Difficult bottle
This product is just what I needed to mix with turp and use for oil painting medium. I needed a mix of half and half, so poured half of this bottle into a small jar and then added turp. Unfortunately this bottle is a press and twist type that is frustrating to open every time I want to use it, and I’m not certain that it seals airtight.

This is the real deal stand oil. Thick and rich. I was taught to use 1:1 ratio this and turps to modify oil paint at Academy of Art years ago, and it still holds. Impregnates your oils with that shine and high gloss.

Perfect for my needs.
I am a disabled vet that loves to paint. I go from my bed to my wheelchair most of the time. I needed this oil as a medium for my paint to help slow down the drying time as well to extend my oil paints for me. On a very limited budget, the stand oil fit all my needs. I will most definitely purchase this product again.
