White Rabbit Press flashcards include more vocabulary than other publishers' cards because the essence of a kanji is best grasped by understanding the meanings it forms when combined with other characters. We only use kana scripts--not romaji--to show kanji readings, and we provide clear and precise definitions in English, so you'll spend less time reaching for a dictionary and more time learning kanji. What's New in Series 3 With Series 3 we've reordered the kanji cards based on frequency analysis of a large corpus of Japanese text (taken from newspapers, novels, and the web.) The most commonly used kanji is the most useful kanji to know, and that's the first kanji characters you'll learn. Preparation for JLPT The official lists of kanji for the new JLPT levels N1 ~ N5 have not be made public, however, as these are the 300 basic kanji they provide preparation for JLPT Levels N4 and N5. Review: Good flashcards - I like these flash cards they are packed with information. They are well made and well packaged. Review: Nice design, logical organization, but watch out for errors - I've been using the cards for a couple months, and find them well designed and logical. I especially like the vocabulary words using the different pronunciations of each kanji, which I find the most challenging part of learning to read. In set #1, card #35 (chi), the first part of the stroke order diagram is for card #270 (ike). Not a big deal because it's an obvious mistake that won't screw you up, but I did have to find another source to be sure of the stroke order.

Kana
Las cartas son duras y del tamaño de una carta de poker. A destacar como muy positivo el hecho de que vengan en Kana y sin romaji, facilita el aprendizaje completo sin caer en la trampa de mirar la lectura latina.
