Quality Denim Shirt For Sure!
When choosing shirts, I like to spend a lot of time meticulously going over the design & origin, as with Amazon being a global market you can sometimes end up with clothing significantly smaller which was made for a different country entirely, and it fits an Action Man rather than a human being! The Brandit range of shirts really stood out for me compared to the many others on the market. Although there are a wide selection of shirts that could be described as being more 'wallet friendly', it's quality I was looking for, and I definitely found it in this Brandit Vintage Shirt!I initially ordered an XL (which turned out to be slightly over ambitious due the amount of pies I consume), but I ended up returning it for an exchange to an XXL, which was a simple process & there was absolutely no issue with in the slightest. Although (living in the UK) the standard delivery time is scheduled for approximately 1 week, the shirt turned up a day early & was well packaged. When I opened the package & pulled out the shirt, it was exactly what I was looking for...Black = Yes!Long-Sleeves = Yes!100% Cotton = Yes!2 x Chest Pockets = Yes!I tried it on for size, and found that the XXL was perfect for me. Not too loose, but not too tight either... just enough room to breathe comfortably with it buttoned up. The cotton is nice & thick, with a rugged look, and whilst it's not torrential rain resistant (I'd be surprised if any 100% cotton shirt is), I've been out with it on a few steady rain days, and it's pretty resilient if you're only doing shorter journeys. The sleeves (like most non-made to measure shirts), are an inch or two longer than I need, but they're comfortable and the cuffs are nice and loose, so the added length doesn't make it feel irritating. It will come in handy in the Summer months to let the body breathe. I imagine if you're into turning up shirt sleeves, this is also an option if you find them too long, but I'm fine with them as they are, as if I wanted a short sleeve shirt, that's exactly what I'd have bought. The only slight discrepancy I could find is some of the stitching in certain areas was left with bits of loose thread here and there, but in all honesty, this is not a major issue, as it's nothing that a pair of scissors didn't manage to sort out. I must stress though, that the stitching is FULLY INTACT, with no areas where thread is missing where holes could develop... it is very professionally made... merely a little excess thread overhang that you may need to deal with (with scissors or a lighter) at your end.Overall, I have to say I love this shirt (as it's somewhere between being a jacket & a shirt) and I ended up buying another one to keep as a spare. I'm very happy with them and can highly recommend the Brandit Vintage Range of Shirts to all guys looking for some resiliant casual wear!

Great looking, fantastic quality, slightly vintage looking shirt
Shirt fits well for an athletic (broad shoulders, slim waist) build, the fabric is thicker and heavier than I expected - I thought it would be a thinnish light shirt, mistaken, it's a good thick, heavier material, you can wear this just with a tshirt under a thin outer shell jacket and keep the chill away. Not a summer shirt (unless left open) but fine for evenings or autumn weather.Other people have mentioned the arm length - I did find the arms slightly longer than expected, maybe 1/2 inch or so but it's not a problem, I tend to roll the sleeves up a couple of rolls anyway.Shirt washes well, not noticed any noticeable fading (apart from normal) and the random vintage effect gives it a nice lived in look. Buttons are sturdy and sewn on well.Fit: I'm 5ft 10in, 85kg, athletic build. Large fits fine (slightly tighter at the neck so leave top 2 buttons open although with just top button open is OK), fit is spot on across the shoulder/arm area, slightly longer on the arm (about 1/2 inch than normal but it's not a problem). Shirt sits just on the butt area and slightly higher on the front - so doesn't look like it 'hangs', perfect cut. It sits close though the thorax area so if you have a bit of a gut might want to go a size larger, advise is to get 2 sizes to try and return one.Overall 10/10 shirt in terms of fabric quality, durability, washing, style, fit and looks!

Quality
These are great shirts, I now own three. Super thick cotton and well made. They look great as they start to wear...if you like the worn in look.My only criticism is that they are slightly short in the body and slightly long in the sleeve. That said, I may have a long body and short arms?It is a quality brand and a quality item. Hard wearing and will last for years.

Really nice
Really like this shirt, decent heavy cotton build as others have mentioned, looks like it should last a long time and be hard wearing. Only thing I feel (barely) let it down is the "vintage" part appears just to be a bit of cheese grater action to some edges, but maybe a couple of washes will reveal some clever chemical treatment. Sleeves and fit are perfect length for a 6'2" slightly chunky fella.

Great shirt
Wore on african safari. Great shirt, tough and durable whilst remaining super comfortable. It is a shame there is limited colours as I would love to get another couple in a olive green.Great value for money. Fits good also.

Heavy thick stiff material - not stonewashed
I bought this as a present for my husband but returned it because it wasn't what I was expecting - I thought it would be a thin material with a 'stonewashed' look, but its really thick heavy stiff material - more like a jacket than a shirt, and jet black. This might be exactly what some people are looking for, but from the photos it wasn't what I was expecting and didn't suit my husband at all.... Apart from that, it was well made - good quality.

Really good, far better than I expected.
I use this as a work shirt and it's great for that as it's quite hard-wearing, it won't fall apart if it's pulled. I didn't expect much for the price but I love this shirt, it fits well (it's on the comfy side of fitting, this is not a slim shirt), it's easy to iron, and it sort of keeps its shape and is a complimentary fit. I'm a tall man with long arms and the fit is great for me. It doesn't look particularly expensive but isn't cheap looking either, it isn't a fancy shirt to wear on smarter occasions, it's a good casual hardy shirt which is certainly worth the money. I don't have a negative thing to say about it, nice work Brandit!!

Nice shirt
The shirt was shipped fast, and is good thick material. But the buttons were not put on securely. One came off immediately, had to put back on and tighten others.Sizing is good.

It is vert comfortable and already feels broken in.I love shirt. I will wear it as a 2nd layer, almost like a light jacket, ove a nice t-shirt.
