328 Feet Cotton Baker's Twine Gift Wrapping Holiday Twine Wedding Christmas String Cotton Cord Rope

The gold bit in the twine tends to come unwound from the rest of it, as it's made of a different material. Plastick-y or metallic, vs the cotton that makes up the rest. You have to handle it with care to keep the metallic gold thread in place with the rest while tying a package; I suppose if you tie off the frayed ends before handling it further, it's not an issue, but it's a bit annoying.

Not a high quality bakers twine. Every time you cut it, you will have to tie the end off in a knot or all of the gold will unravel off of the string. Quite a pain in the butt if you don’t want a knot in your string.

If you want this to add a little sparkle to your gift wrapping, skip this one. The silver strand practically falls off the second you in wrap it from the roll. Then when you try and tie the twine in any sort of bow or anything, it just ravels and tangles around itself. It doesn’t have the same sturdiness and texture as real twine. Would absolutely not recommend, huge waste of money.

This stuff is trash!! I should have listened to the reviews, but I just needed to tread up some felt balls for my tree so assumed it would at least be ok for that task... nope!! The hold thread comes off so fast that anything you thread gathers all the gold, it snaps when pulling, it has just made such an annoying mess! I got a few feet done by having to tie it off like another person said, but it is junk and I will trash it after this project is finished.

It was a great value for the money. However the good intertwined with the white rope came apart very easily making my craft difficult to complete. Once you cut the rope everything starts to unravel so it’s not that sturdy. If that fix it preventing the unraveling it would get five stars but I could only give it one because it didn’t hold as expected.

The thread is nice looking until you cut it and the gold completely separated from the rest making it look cheap. I bought it for product packaging so obviously I can't use it for that now, but the kids use it for crafts and that would out fine.

Super disappointing- the gold looks like it’s woven in the string, but the second you cut a piece it starts unraveling and detaching from the white base, leaving you with a sad white string. I mass cut a bunch of lengths of this for ornaments and all the gold came undone so I can’t even return it!

The gold is just one piece kind of loosely wrapped around the cotton cord so it completely unravels when you use it. If you really try, you can kind of hold it together if you wrap the twine around something - it will mostly stay wrapped except for the ends. However, if you don't wrap it around something and just cut lengths of it to use then the gold just unravels from the cotton cord and you're left with plain cotton cord.
