I was happy to find that this is the newer version of the bag with the middle separater compartment as others said they still received the older model. I also prefer the striped lining that the newer model looks to come with.This bag is very sturdy. I love the nubs on the bottom that protect the bags material. The stitching was alright, some loose strings which I nipped away myself.The straps are a comfortable length and pass my “shoulder test” which allows me to pick up the bag and lift it up my arm to my shoulder (without using my other hand) and it doesn’t get snagged on my elbow.The only downsides I would say are the 2 inside zippers. They are cheap plastic that snag alllll the time. Even being as gentle as possible, one of the zipper pulls broke. (The external zippers are strong and work fine.)Also this bag does have a manufacturing/factory odor as others have referenced. It is strong but I’m also pregnant so my sense of smell is heightened. They did provide a little green tea sachet tucked into an inside pocket which you can upwrap and keep in there. I’m not sure how much it’s going to do for the smell though since it’s most likely the thick external material that likely smells. Maybe I’ll try to wipe it down with a damp cloth.Overall, sturdy and fashionable bag with weak and snaggy inside zippers.

I recently bought this for a month-long trip to France. I knew that I was only going to take a carry on suitcase, so that would not allow me much room for storing my laptop and chargers. I bought this bag to carry those extra items that I needed to take but would not fit in my luggage.First, although this is not the quality of say, Gucci, it is perfectly fine. It looks very nice. I like that it has those little metal feet, keeping the bottom of the bag off of the floor --when traveling you can encounter some fairly yucky floors.Second, the straps are just the right length to go over my shoulder and yet not so long that the bag drags on the floor when I carry it in my hand (I'm rather short).Third, my Chromebook fit into it just fine. I put it in the zippered center section so that even if I had way too much stuff in it to zip the whole bag closed, at least no one could see my laptop.It is roomy enough to use as I did for traveling, yet small enough to use as just a regular tote bag for commuting, or carrying your knitting, or even doing a bit of shopping.So far, I really like this bag a lot. It might not last me for many years like a real leather one probably would, but it didn't cost that much and it is fine for my needs in the short term.

Although the bag did not meet my specific need, I am giving it 5 stars for quality of the look and feel of the bag.When I initially ordered this bag, I had measured my work laptop to see if it will fit into this bag. Unfortunately I only measured the width of my laptop, NOT the length. When I have my laptop inside the bag, the zipper can't be close. This is my fault! I should have measure all the parts!I wish the bag was bigger. It would have been perfect for me because I wanted a bag I can put my laptop in. Also , when I think of a work bag, I think of putting files and papers inside the bag. While the bag fits a file and clip board and you can zip it up, it feels a bit tight. Other than this complaint, I think the bag looks amazing! It has a quality look and feel to it. The bag is very attractive. I can't say enough about the look and feel of the bag!I'm going to keep this bag anyway and see if I can make it work as my work bag, even if it doesn't fit my laptop. Otherwise, its perfect as a purse for all purposes!

I am super picky about my purses. I have bought and returned MANY!! As I get older, I no longer feel the need to have an expensive brand name purse, but I do have some requirements. It must stand on it's own without falling in on itself. It must look high quality. It must have plenty of pockets and organization and It must fit comfortably over my shoulder and under my arm. This purse does it all, plus more!! The gold "feet" on the bottom is a nice touch and protects the purse. The inside is super cute with the pinstripes. The middle organizer stands straight up. It feels and looks expensive. The straps are a little wider than most and aren't stiff. It was bigger than I thought it was going to be, but it is so light and comfortable to carry. I just love it! It's a keeper for sure!!

Overall I think the bag is well designed & well made, it’s just not big enough for extended travel. It has a lot of zippered compartments & pockets but it is pretty rigid so it isn’t good for fitting a lot of stuff in. A laptop would work, iPhone, make up bag but if you want to take other reading material or a knitting project it gets pretty crowded quickly! It does fit in the overhead well or under the seat.I need something that will look good, is made well & is roomy enough for all my travel necessities.

So I for one am VERY picky about my hand bags, but this one has to be my favorite by far. I just got it today and as soon as I took it out of the packaging I was in love! The quality makes you feel like its an expensive bag and it is super roomy. It also comes with an air freshener that i will keep in the bag to mask that "new bag smell" The bag itself is the perfect size for a mom or woman who has a bad habit of just throwing things in her bag! (I'm guilty) but I am seriously thinking about buying more colors or giving these as gifts at this affordable price!!!!10 out of 10 would recommend!

I was just trying to find a good gift for my mom to give on thanksgiving. I found that this bag was in my price range and bought it. I just received it yesterday and it didn't feel like the bag that was shown online. The bag I received was far more stiff and it looked huge in real life. It still looked like a good gift to give just because it looked like a bag my mom would wear. This might not be a good option for the people that don't prefer stiff and big bags.
