Is it big enough to fit a few American paper dollars folded into forth’s?

Yes, I can almost stick my whole fist into it. I just measured it. Mine is more of a trapezoid shape than a square like the picture. Mine is about 5 inches long (~13 cm) and the bag opening is 9 inches (~23 cm) in circumference. The draw string is very firm and difficult to tie tightly so small coins could maybe slip out, but I have not had any problems with it. The bag is very sturdy.

No, they are not unique or intended for any specific game. They are just supposed to be examples for a typical fantasy gold or silver coin.

A couple reviewers mention the paint flaking off on some of the coins? Especially on the silver. Have others had this experience?

I have not had any problems with my coins. They look and feel like real coins. Mine are not painted. They are stamped metal.
