This is a nice book, with clear scoring easy enough for my old eyes to read! The notes are exceptional, which is so nice when trying to understand the subtle nuances of the piece. It came with free access to audio, so you can listen to the exact scoring, which is also helpful.

PROS:- beautiful artwork on the book- great commentary, review and notes on each of the pieces inside the book- comes with downloadable mp3 recording that sounds fantastic!- pages have a nice french vanilla tone (not pure white) which makes it feel authenticCONS:- I can't think of anything wrong with this book!

Notation is clear, good resolution. It seems to be complete and without errors. I’m having a great time! If you want to learn a piece from this suite, then this is a good copy to use.

I looked around extensively for a copy of the entire Suite Bergamasque (not just Clair de Lune, aka part 3 of the suite). This was the best one I found, and I've been practicing with it for weeks. The best thing is that it includes fingerings (added by an editor, no doubt), which most sheet music do not include. The printing quality is good; the notes are solidly printed and not faint as in other additions.

G. Schirmer/Hal Leonard - Debussy Suite Bergamasque. The suite contains 4 pieces. However, my edition had only 3 pieces, which are not complete. Whole pages are Missing. The first 3 pieces are actually mixed together! For example: The Minuet stops at measure 41; the Prelude is reprinted, then the Minuet is reprinted in full. On to Clair de lune - the first 61 measures are printed, followed by measure 42 of the Minuet, to its conclusion. Then on to another Claire de lune printed again to measure 59, which means there is no full printing of this piece. There is No 4th piece, the Passepied, at all.Unbelievably Bad Printing.Plus, I looks like someone else returned this collection before it was sent to me.Additionally, the extensive historical and pedagogical information was excluded.I rate this NO Stars.
