I am very happy to have bought this remote for my Samsung QR70 TV. I love the TV, but hate the remote that comes with it. I record a lot of stuff from my Dish provider and watch them when I want to. The remote that came with the TV had no separate buttons for pause, forward, reverse, stop and it was driving me crazy trying to use it for that purpose. A very kludgy process would make it work. This remote solves all that. It's not 100% compatible with the functionality of the Dish remote, but with some effort you can make it work. For example, it doesn't have a button for displaying the programs recorded on Dish, but there's a work-around to do the same thing. It also has a guide list button which can be use for Dish, also for over-the air stations and the streaming channels that the Samsung smartness picks up. It's programmable for other devices, but my ancient Onkyo receiver wouldn't respond with this remote, even though it was listed as programmable device. All in all, well worth the price for helping me enjoy my TV for satellite input, OTA and streaming input, and the smart inputs like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Works like the original remote but is very lightweight so don't drop it on a hard surface.

Does not even have an input light.

Love it, exactly what I needed to replace my other one and would buy it again in a heart beat!
