PfannerProtos Integral Arborist Helmet - Red & Yellow

This is the best, most comfortable, easiest to use helmet I've owned. Fits great, very comfortable, I love it. A little expensive but I don't feel like I'll need to buy another one for a very long time. This helmet beats all the cheep knock off saw helmets.

Very comfortable. I would recommend safety glasses when using the mesh face shield though as fine particles will pass threw mesh.

I was really on the fence for weeks to buy this Protos helmet since a reviewer said his size 7-3/4 head was too large with the tightening latch set. Due to the multiple adjustments provided, I was able to adjust all adjustments to maximum size and it fits perfectly with the chin and back tightening latch closed. (I had to watch a TreeStuff.com YouTube to understand the adjustment settings, which made this work for me.) I am around a size 7-5/8 to 7-3/4 hat size, but closer to 7-3/4 according to all my hats I’ve purchased.This helmet is superior to all helmets on the market thanks to the safety and fitting features. The comfort is awesome, very light in weight with more innovative features than any other helmet. It’s very streamlined and light compared to my Husky helmet. The protection from impact is far superior too.The retracting hearing protection cannot be found on any other helmet. I mostly use it for recreation tree climbing along with gas powered chainsaw use in the trees.Well worth the money, it was engineered and I believe manufactured in Germany. No junk here!You will pay a lot for this one, but it’s the safest and best. The closest competitors will cost similar after you add the hearing protection and visor (which is awesome) this helmet already has. I expected the best due to the price, and found I got more than what payed. I’ll buy again if it’s lost or stolen. Five stars in all categories for this one!

Doing my chainsaw training course and found the helmet I had was uncomfortable, did not stay in place, and made it hard to work. Shelled out for this, and am really pleased - very comfortable and had good visibility and ear protection, and stays in place for hours with no discomfort, even when climbing. 100% would get again.

This helmet has some really innovative design features. It is really well-engineered. My head measures 24 inches around, and I am at the maximum end of the fit range on this helmet. It only comes in one size. So measure your head before you buy. The clamp at the back of the helmet that snugs the harness around the base of your skull is really brilliantly designed, but at 24 inches it is slightly too snug on me when I sinch it down.

Very comfortable and lightweight, you can wear this helmet all day long with no problems

Perfectly adjustable, comfortable chin strap, see-thru eye protection, retractable hearing protection, and VENTILATION! Wearing this helmet not only makes me safer, it makes me feel like a super hero. Well worth the money for both felling trees and using the chipper.
