I have purchased a dozen bottles of this sauce at my local Kroger store over the last 5 months. It always tastes great, and the same. HOWEVER DO NOT BUY THIS FROM AMAZON!!! I had this bottle sent directly to family on the East Coast. After bragging about the flavor, and the spicy bite, they were disappointed to say the least. On my two week vacation back home I tried some of this bottle that I sent. This had no flavor and 0 spice. This was CRAP!! Same label ingredients, but a totally different taste. When I returned back to Indiana, I bought a bottle of at Kroger. It was just a good as the last dozen bottles!! I have purchased. Not sure what went wrong with the online purchase but DO NOT BUY ON LINE !!

The flavor definitely had the warmth of horseradish. Did store it in the refrigerator as suggested to help bring out the flavors. I don't believe I would consider it extremely spicy but I tend to like dishes with more heat.I thought it was a good consistency for shrimp cocktail but is a bit runnier than many other cocktail sauces. Thus I was surprised the first time I went to pour it out.Not a big fan of the cocktail sauce being in a plastic bottle.

This cocktail sauce is some of the best I’ve had in my whole life. It’s a little spicy, but extremely delicious.
