I like these pencils, but they are too chubby for my fingers to draw with. I thought that they would be more normal pencil grip-type pencils, but they are chubby.

All of the pencils arrived with the tips broken off into the packaging. I tried to sharpen them and each time, the tips would break off into the sharpener. Tried multiple sharpeners. I ordered three different packages of colored pencils and they all arrived today. The other two packs (different brand) sharpened just fine.

Go ahead and buy this selection...lovely colors (especially for describing the figure or portrait)

I bought it for my wife, she told me that these pencils are good quality thus she will order again

Beautiful, thick, excellent. I love them. But be aware that it is usually a great problem associated with them, their sharpening! I bought a Contè sharpener which was a real disappointment. I tried to use an otherwise excellent sharpener, my expensive M+R 09810090 sharpener, on them but unfortunately it worked only on one pencil before it got destroyed! It is totally non functional now!

Ive had a few brands of these charcoal pencils and find these to be the best. They are highly pigmented and actually come out the colours there meant to be strongly, opposed to other brands where they seem to come out too dark and appear black or grey despite their intended colours.They are also appealing to look at with the packaging and the pencils themselves are slightly chunky with a high quality finish.I will be using this brand again for future purchases. Wekk worth it.
