Worked well, but dyes everything
Needed to treat my fish after some new additions. It does work well, but turns the water a vivid green colour, and should you have any air lines etc in your pond it will dye them. Remember that this treatment takes several days of adding, so just when the water starts to clear you turn it vivid green again. Fish are now healthy, and as it was on offer it was cheaper than local aquatic stores. It wont do anything to control Algae and please read the full instructions and warning on the bottle as its not suitable for all fish. A good sized bottle will allow me to do a second complete treatment should it be required.

Did Not Live Up To Expectations
After having a sick fish and using the normal strength treatment which did not seem to be effective I quickly purchased this treatment, but alas, after following the recommended treatment course the fish did not even improve and, unfortunately died. I am quite disappointed as I, up to this point, I really rated Blagdon products, but alas, this time just not effective, despite my early intervention.

Worked on my poorly fish
I have a pond with various goldfish including a few black ones. One of the black ones developed white patches along the bottom and one of his fins looked shredded. I used the product as directed for 5 days (it does stain if you spill any and it’s a vivid green). The fish is looking much better and it’s a couple of weeks since I used it. His fin looks better and he is using it again. It had no detrimental effect on the plants or other fish.

Product effective for cotton wool type fungus
Worked well. Fish is very much improved. First package arrived and had leaked so was waiting quite a few days to treat the fish when should have been with me the following day.
