I looooooove this heating blanket!Almost didn’t purchase it because some of the reviews!Glad I did this blanket is so soft and fits my California king bed great not to short!Just in level 3 it heats up a lot!very satisfied

The color of the blanket is a beautiful deep blue and the material has a nice plush feel to it. The dual controls work very well, with 5 levels that go from lightly warm up to hot and work independently for each side of the bed. The blanket is large and they didn't skim on the amount of the material. You can feel the coils of cable running through it, so it would be better if the material was thicker. The cords to the controls and to plugging in were all kinds of confusing and it took multiple tries, and reconfiguring what was plugged into which outlets around the bed, to figure out how to set both controls up where you can reach them easily from both sides of the bed. Once set up, however, it works well. The one thing that is driving me crazy, though, is the binding they used for the top edge of the blanket. The part that is up by your face. Because of the way it is wired, you don't have a choice, that's the part that has to be at the top. It's bound with this stiff, scratchy, horrid material. It scrapes at your skin all night. Why would they do this? All the other edges are not bound and are the nice soft plus material of the blanket. I wish I had a sewing machine so I could sew some softer material over it. It is so bad that I'm thinking about cutting it off, which I suspect would not be a good thing. Or maybe taking it in to my dry cleaners and seeing if they can sew something over it even though it would not be a cheap fix. I still gave it 4 stars because everything else about it is exactly what I wanted.

This blanket is barely wide enough to cover a king size bed, with only 2 inches to spare on either side of the mattress. It also will NOT stay in place and slides across the bed due to the texture of the material. Instead of helping me rest, it stresses me out. The material has also started getting little snags in it from the smallest thing like a handrail or resting my Kindle on it while reading. I had ordered it to replace a Sunbeam electric blanket that had worked well for 8 years but its obviously not the same quality.

This blanket would have gotten 5 stars had customer service actually existed. HOWEVER! When the blanket arrived, was put on the bed, plugged in and turned on, only the right side of the blanket heated. After further examination I noticed that one pin connector was recessed in the connector housing so power was not getting to the blanket. I followed the instructions to file a warranty claim (since the blanket is warranted for 5 years) for a replacement. I got a generic form letter with a link to file a claim. I jump through hoops to get all the information that is called for with associated pictures that are required and submit form. Form link fails and informs me to log into an account without giving me a login link or access to a forgotten password link for that matter to a site I’ve never visited.I tried calling customer service. I was told by robotic voice to call customer service between 8am and 5pm Monday-Friday. So I did that. MULTIPLE TIMES! Each time I was told to hold while my party was connected then hung up on. MULTIPLE TIMES!Sunbeam used to be an outstanding product but now they are just another product company only interested in money and not customers.

The blanket was fabulous as far as the temperature, weight, and feel. However, because of the plushness we spent every night fighting to keep the blanket evenly divided. The blanket went to one side of the bed and the bedspread to the other. The sheet went with the blanket. If that blanket was made of fleece, it would be the most perfect electric blanket ever. However, that type of material feels great but it slides across the bed when there is movement in the bed.

got this a few weeks ago--right in the middle of the numerous snowstorms hitting NY.made it a relief to get into bed. i turn it on about 5 minutes before i get into bed.it has 20 levels. i've never needed more than level8. after about half an hour, i turn it to 3 or 4.after another half hour, i turn it off completely. now that spring is around the corner,i probably won't need the heat at all.

Our 10 year old Sunbeam blanket died. We decided to go with this high-end version Sunbeam and it certainly seemed luxurious when we put it onto the bed. It is so plush that it doesn't stay in place. It slides one way on the sheet and the spread on top slides the other. It would be great for one still person, but didn't work out for two active sleepers. All the other features are great. We immediately replaced it with the normal Sunbeam blanket and are quite happy. Our granddaughter is quite happy with her unexpected plush blanket because she never makes her bed.

At last - a silky- soft, light electric blanket, large enough to completely cover a king-size bed, with plenty of extra inches at the bottom, and on the sides. There is 'extra' space, without heating elements at the top, so one can fold it over , under the turned down top sheet. Pre-heat works well - and the auto shut-off makes it easy to 'set' and forget.
