I ordered these at my daughter's request. Amazon shipping put the thin plastic container with 50,000 beads in a box with a larger item weighing 6 lb, so of course when I opened the box, the container was cracked and there were 50,000 beads all over the place. I complained about the irresponsible packing and Amazon, being the consummate customer service provider, is replacing them. But I wish I had researched before I even ordered them. These can be ingested by kids or pets and cause intestinal obstruction which can be dangerous or fatal. I also read that some 5-7 year old kids put them in there ears where they swelled up, causing symptoms mimicking ear infection. After being treated for ear infection unsuccessfully, with symptoms persisting, the beads had to be surgically removed, and causing damage to the ear drums. So be aware that this is not just the innocuous fun and games tactile toy it is cracked up to be. I still am unable to find out about the composition of the beads and whether there is anything toxic to be concerned about.

This tiny container of beads makes such a huge amount once they have expanded! One whole container is about half of a standard bath tub of beads. Colors are translucent and pretty. Very good purchase for the money.

Great product, soaked in water for 2 hours before my event and they were perfect and lasted days! I highly suggest for a kids party or for sensory table play! Even though the bottle seemed small when it arrived It was exactly the amount I needed and it filled an entire water table!

The water beads were very small when they were fully hydrated. They were only about the size of a pea. Very disappointed in these water beads. I would not recommend this brand.

Very unhappy with this purchase! The beads did not grow much at all the were very tiny some did grow a larger size but most were still very tiny.

These are a great item for a kid with sensory issues. My daughter is autistic and he loves these. We use to calm down after a meltdown or just for some sensory stimulation.

They’re perfect for preschoolers. I had my niece try them before I took them to work at a daycare. Everyone loved them. They don’t take too long to get to full size.
