Love these for my baked potatoes. They cook faster and the potatoes are fluffy inside. The nails are light and easy to put in, sometimes I have to tap it with my meat pounder at the very end because I have very arthritic hands.

Wash your potatoes, insert this baking nail into the potatoes. Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into a baggie, put your potato in the bag and coat the potato, without getting your hands greasy drop the potato onto a sheet of aluminum, wrap it up and put it in the oven. All ovens are different but I put the potatoes on the top rack at 400• for an hour, the way to check if potatoes are done, poke a small sharp knife into the potatoes, it should be soft. Remove the potato and with a pot holder pull the nail out as not to burn your fingers, soak nails in soapy water to clean.

Exactly as expected. Baked potatoes cook in half the time. Insert into middle of potato and bake. Voila!

Alittle on the light side. I remember them to have a heavier metal.

These are a must have in the kitchen if you like a great baked potatoes. I hate potatoes in a microwave and these nails help cook the inside of the potatoes . I still wrap the whole thing in foil to promote cooking time.

I should have read the size better, not their fault, but they are pretty short if you are cooking large potatoes.
