I was searching for a lighter more convenient companion to my JOBY GorillaPod when I stumbled on the Fotopro UFO2 Plus, and I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised. The UFO2 Plus is lighter and smaller (but not shorter) than the GorillaPod 3K, and that’s a godsend as weight and space is of paramount importance when I’m traveling. Both the GorillaPod and UFO2 are really nice tripods, and they both have their respective strengths and weaknesses.I like the fact that the UFO2 has slim legs that I can easily grip and carry as selfie stick. I also like that the legs are really easy to twist into any position I want as it makes it infinitely easy to securely wrap the tripod around poles and railings. Much more flexible that the GorillaPod. The camera mounting head swivels 360 degrees and locks into place with a convenient quick release lever (as opposed to a knob) which I really appreciate. The camera screws into tripod. Would have been nice if tripod came with a quick release plate for easier camera mounting and dismounting. There’s a bubble level on the mounting head that I wish was bigger as it’s a bit difficult to see.The UFO2 Plus is rated for cameras up to 1.2 kilograms (or about 2.6 pounds) which is plenty for my cell phone and Nikon D5600. The tripod comes with a bluetooth remote and phone adapter that worked well with my Apple iPhone XS Max. Also comes with a small carrying pouch which is a nice extra.Pros* Slim and light but still feels high quality* Extremely flexible legs that can securely wrap around virtually anything* Quick release latch lock on the swivel head* Extras like bluetooth remote, mobile phone adapter, and carrying pouch* Perfect for cell phones, and compact DSLR cameras* Half the cost of the GorillaPod (paid $28 for the UFO2 Plus on 1/2019)Cons* Very small bubble level that’s difficult to see* No quick release plate on the mounting headWould I replace my JOBY GorillaPod with the Fotopro UFO2 Plus? They both have their uses but I find myself carrying the UFO2 Plus more often as it’s lighter and and slimmer. Perfect for cell phones, and compact DSLR cameras. Overall, I give it a 4.5 star rating.

😍😍😍 oh my gosh, the colors. I was so close to purchasing the black one but instead took a few days to stock my cart. I came upon this colorful one and fell in love. I used to have a segmented legged tripod and it broke after a year of heavy usage. This tripod is one fluid, bendable tool. Each leg can contort as desired and the versatility is endless. Everyone is asking about it when I pull it out. 10/10

This would be perfect if only the ball joint and socket were both metal. Unfortunately the ridges on the metal ball have smoothed out the plastic socket and has a hard time holding my large phone without tipping. Can get it in a workable position but I’d never trust this to hold my dslr for fear it would tip and bust my camera.

I enjoy this cute tripod so much. I can set it on my desk and wrap it around my elliptical. Very sturdy and super easy to set up. The directions weren't all that great anyways. The colored legs make it so much better than the other phone stands. I hope they make more colors!

Love this tripod. Great size and beat colors. All around good product. The cell phone attachment is the best. I've used quite a few, but none this good.

Muy bueno! Lo uso para dar clases en línea y se adapta perfecto a dónde sea que lo pongo! El adaptador para el celular sigue genial y pensé que no duraría porque es de plástico no tan bueno como el del trípode! Muy recomendable!

Todo excelente excepto el aditamento para elCelular que hace que cueste trabajo ponerlo y quitarlo. Sin dudas lo volvería a comprar. Lo ocupo con mi celular y con mi cámara Nikkon

Las patas del trípode se fueron safando una por una, ya no se mantiene parado, se siente como si se hubiera safado algo por dentro,..no lo recomiendo..

Cumple su función. El celular se puede poner en posición horizontal o vertical sin problema.

Ha sido el mejor trípode que he comprado, tal vez por el uso vi una fisura donde se sujeta del teléfono, seria perfecto que lo vendieran individual.
