Clever Creations Wooden Christmas Advent Calendar, Countdown to Christmas, LED Holiday Decoration, Battery Operated, Santa

My round advant calendar came and the electrical part does not work. I tried with brand new AA batteries but no light or movement happened when it was turned on. I also feel there is alot of empty space inside and the drawers could be longer (although it isn't a huge issue for me because it's a normal soze for advant calendars). The wood is thin and the items is quite light so it is fine for decoration, but be cautious of you're moving it around alot or have pets/small children. But it doesn't feel flimsy enough that the drawers can't be used. It will easily fit chocolate, candy, notes, or dice (I am using it for dice, my husband is into D&D so each day he will get a new die) without any concern for it breaking.They left a note stating they would replace defective ones but no contact info was given and it must be replaced through Amazon. If the electrical issue didn't occur I would give 5 stars. I will update the review if I am able to get a replacement for the electrical issue.

This Advent calendar looks as good in reality as it does in the pictures. Really cute and appears well made (although some others had different experiences). I love the addition of lights to the scene on top, it really makes it different and special. I got this for my wife and she loves it! Word of warning: The drawers are really small. This is accurately described in the product notes so this is no fault of the manufacturer, but it was surprising just how small those dimensions actually are. I had intended to put Sees chocolates in each drawer, but as there was no way those were going to fit, I put small numbered pieces of paper in each drawer and then put corresponding numbered paper tabs on each of the chocolates in the Sees box. Just take the number out of that day's drawer and finds the chocolate with that number on it! I put all the tabs in randomly in both the calendar and the chocolate box so that it's a surprise each day what she'll get. It worked out great!

This was a gift for my daughter and her family. She picked it out of the several choices that Amazon offers. Overall, we are quite happy with the purchase: it was delivered in excellent time and everyone was pleased with it's design and charm.Unfortunately, in transit the top of the front "gable" was damaged - essentially chipped off. The cardboard container was shown to have been compressed and damaged. My son-in-law is a fine woodworker and will find a way to repair the broken tip of the 'triangle'. I apologize that I did not get a photo of the damage at the time, and now am too far away to address that oversight.This was not inherently the fault of the vendors- their service was perfect. Rather, it points to poor packaging from the factory that cannot stand up to normal rough handling during shipping. Often these packages are not actually designed for individual shipment- they are made 'just good enough' to get a half-dozen or dozen product boxes into a sturdier cardboard box that is used for bulk shipments. I see it all the time in my own business.The only suggestion I can offer would be to open each box of these Advent decorations and add a piece of foam to the 'gable area'- enough to cushion the delicate 'tip of the triangle'. Ideally, these decorations could remain in their factory box but placed in a larger box with air pillows or bubblewrap for cushion, but I would agree that this is probably not so feasible from an economics standpoint.Aside from that, I would once again like to express our satisfaction with both the Advent decoration and our experience with Clever Creations.

It is really pretty and the light up feature is nice, but the base of it is slightly warped because it’s very thin wood and wasn’t glued properly, so it’s slightly wobbly, but it still stands up fine so I wasn’t too worried about it. Then I started trying to fill up the drawers with candy, and let me tell you that was like doing a puzzle because the drawers are tiny and there is this little drawer catch that effectively makes the drawer even smaller because if you close it with the candy you might not be able to open it again without this stopper smashing all the candy. I was also fine with this because I just picked smaller candy. No big deal. But then I got to one drawer and it didn’t even have the back to the drawer. Just the sides, the bottom and the front. I still can put candy in it but it can fall out the back of the drawer and it would have been nice to get the item in perfect working condition since it’s brand new. So it lost a star for those reasons, but it is very cute.

The media could not be loaded.  Christmas is my favorite time of year and I wanted to get an advent calendar for 2021. I ordered this and am just in love with it. After unboxing, I was so excited to get batteries in to turn on the light inside. When I flipped the switch, I lit up with a big smile and felt that Christmas magic. The craftsmanship is beautifully detailed and the tree even moves! Which was a fun surprise, I might have missed that in the description. Mine arrived with no issues or damage because of the careful packaging. They did include a sweet note advising if there's any issues, especially since it's such a delicate item that may get damaged during shipping, to contact them and they will send a free no hassle replacement. I can definitely see this as a great gift as well. I'm so excited to add this gem to my holiday decor.

For a similar price or only a few pounds less I have seen many similar versions but unpainted, sometimes flat pack. This is worth every penny! It looks stunning and is simply but well decorated. The drawers are a perfect size (photo next to coaster for scale). I only need them to put in some small pieces of paper but you could fit in some sweets or chocolates (7 sweets on the picture). I only wish the drawer knobs were more prominent, maybe little balls, so they would be easier to grab - that'sthe reaskn for dropping 1 star.

Beautiful Advent calendar decoration..rotating tree, lit lampost & small figures all add to it's charm, drawers deep but a bit to easy to open, esp when lifting to turn on..overall very nice dec

Wow I love it, I can’t fault this product at all, it’s absolutely beautiful and well made, it just sums up Christmas perfectly, lovely keepsake to cherish for years to come and just magical for children to fill every year. The service from Amazon was amazing and so fast, came the next day, thank you.

Seems very nice n cute... Lights work fine not too obvious for nativity scene... draws seem about right... like it recommend you buy one if only for Christmas 2020...all good....

Very well made. Drawers are big enough for a big chocolate coin (approx. 4cm deep 2,5 wide and 2,5cm hight)It lits up and my kids love this. I had to get another one for my eldest one too.
