iYoShop Durable Slip Lead Dog Leash, 1/2" x 4 FT, Military Green

I had wanted to do a video of this Leash but have just undergone two computer crashes in three weeks. However, I want to tell you that this Leash is one of the best I have ever used. It is very sturdy yet is not heavy. I was surprised at that. The length of it is great and gives you enough space for your dog. I tried it on Mr. Tuffy, who says we will definitely do a video because he likes to be famous. Anyway, he didn't mind it too much, well he likes to be free but going to the mailbox with me is not safe as it is close to the road. Again he didn't mind the leash as it felt comfortable to him. I love the black/white color as well, it's so happy looking and I think Mr. Tuffy felt pretty good at showing it off to the other dogs by the way he was walking. We both liked it. It's a great product that I am very happy to recommend. Give it a try you and your Dog will both love it. I'll try to get a video up as soon as I can. Product received for a Honest Review. UPDATE (2 month later): Still using this wonderful Leash and it is working great. Mr. Tuffy doesn't mind it at all. He's such a good boy. This leash came quickly. When I pulled it out of the package, I was surprised and happy with how well-made it seemed. I needed a simple slip-lead to bring my new German Shepherd puppy home with, as we drove a long way to get him , and needed to stop for potty breaks. Didn't want to lose him on the way home! I couldnt find one in local stores, so I ordered this. Honestly, this lead is much nicer than I expected. The handle is cushy and comfortable. The rope is sturdy but soft and nice to touch. The lead has a leather piece that keeps the lead from loosening, and it is not shown in the photo, but mine had an adjustable metal buckle/stopper thing that prevented it from tightening too much. I can set it to a certain size and expect it to stay that way. I wasn't really planning on using this much after we got home, but I have found it invaluable. I leave it on the pup when he's out and about in the house, so I can keep track of him better and make sure he's not into mischief. He's chewed on it a bit, but not damaged it in any way. I use it to take him potty, and on walks. It stays on, is comfortable to hold, and seems comfortable on him. He pulls sometimes when excited, but the lead doesnt tighten or loosen. I definitely recommend this lead! Its set at a great price, and the product isnt just some cheap crap. It's a great tool in dog training.

I have two dogs but I own 4 of these, so that I have them positioned around the home to quickly grab when needed. They are just perfect and very durable.

While waiting for the right rescue to come our way, we began reading the dog training books by the monks of St. Skete (highly recommend) and they recommended this type of leash for training. What caught my eye was the padded handle and it is as comfortable to hold as it looks. We have been working with our dog now for three weeks and find that the noose immediately loosens after the quick, corrective jerk. We did catch our dog trying to chew on it at one point, but it is made of a durable twisted fabric and is barely noticeable [pic 2]....and she did chew through the car harness in no time! We haven't used them but it has a metal piece for tags at the loop end [pic 1] and a metal ring to hang a doggie bag holder at the handle end [pic 3] as well. Even at full resistance it does not stretch. When we went to pick her up at the shelter, the shelter personnel took our leash to bring her out and remarked how much they liked the handle. When you are out there training, the padding really does make a difference and I think gives you an overall better grip. Highly recommend for getting your dog under control and for training. Update 12-16-2020 Our dog is a chewer with sharp teeth. In literally seconds she cut through the leash. This was the second one that this has happened to. We did not see her chewing on the first one so had no idea how quickly she could destroy it. Deleted one star because of lack of durability. We love this leash....the owner's end is so comfortable to handle and allows you to get a good grip with gloves or even in wet weather. However, we do wish that the outer covering on the leash was made of a more durable material. After two of these, we ordered a metal one..... But if your dog is not a chewer, you can't do any better than this leash for training and comfort for both owner and pet.

This seems to be a very good product, however I haven't had it long enough to know if it is chew resistant with puppy.

I don't think I can tell you just how happy I really am about getting this dog leash. The words I say on this review will not give the excitement in my voice as much justice as it deserves. I have a 3 year old brindle Greyhound whippet mix Named Bruno. Since he was only 3 months old my puppy has Been ridiculously strong, especially if he's excited. I remember having to hold the leash with another person when we would go to the dog park and even then he would still be dragging the both of us. After breaking about 10 different types of leashes that were made from different materials and in different types of design I finally gave up. Unfortunately I had to give in and buy a chain link leash because it was the only thing sturdy enough. Even with that though I have had problems because when I need to draw him in closer to me wrapping the chain link metal around my hand is not very comfortable and if he resists or is overly excited and tries pulling it can become extremely painful. I I have always hated it and so has my husband but we have been unable to find anything that comes close to matching its durability and control. ALAS!!!!! I have found the unfindable leash I have been searching for and I could not be any happier!!! To start... the color is pretty awesome! I am loving the black/white color mixed together and it’s really colorful . The material is nice and thick without being ridiculous. The hook that Clips to my dog's collar is a good size and a really good, thick metal. Although the metal is thick and sturdy it was really nice to see, and feel that it is not too heavy. Also the clip did not stick or give me a hard time like a lot of other Clips I have dealt with in the past. My ABSOLUTE favorite part of this leash is that the rope has some elasticity and won’t hurt your hands when dogs pull. No more rope burn at all. If I could give more than five stars I would without a question!!! I have to say that when it comes to things I have bought online this is definitely in the top 3! It is a great price it is an amazing, thought out product that is really good quality and hands down worth every penny.

I can’t say enough good things about this leash—it’s been amazing for my pup and me! From the moment I started using it, I could tell it was built to last. I have a 20 inch medium sized dog and this leash is a life saver. He has so many nightmare stories of getting out of the yard and running into the street whenever he could. He has been hit by cars in the past so we would only let him run in our backyard. He's getting older now and it breaks my heart that he can't go out for daily walks. So I researched durable leashes that he can't chew through and this leash has helped so much. He tried chewing on the leash when we first got it but he gave up after the first day. The handle is soft enough I don't get rope burn and I feel so much safer taking him on walks knowing he won't break the leash. I've had the plastic hook break on leashes in the past so the fact that it's metal really helps. The leash has enough stretch to it that it doesn't hurt him or me when he tries to pull, but it's not as stretchy as I thought it would be. That's not a downside, but I feel it's important to know that it's mostly firm and takes a bit of strength to stretch. I love that it's long enough to let him sniff around but that I can hold it to a shorter length when I need him to walk by my side. I haven't noticed anything that really stands out about the reflective parts of the leash. It sometimes shows when you shine a light on it so cars can see it in the dark but I tend to walk my dog when it's already morning so I can't say for sure. Overall a great leash and well worth the price.

A very good strong quality lead that works well with my hyper active staffy puppy.

I bought two of these and although they are good they are so heavy. I prefer the shorter and lighter ones.

Awful! We used it once and noticed it just slips from position and doesn’t do what it’s meant to do! Ended up binning it as the lead was just strangling the dog rather than being a lead! The tag to stop it from moving just flies up and down the rope and doesn’t actually do anything.

Spent 1.6k on this useless leash. Didn't even last for 6 months. Dont buy, big time rip off and waste of money.
