Seems to work well on a glass table top

I used this adhesive for the first time yesterday. I was gluing 3 layers of 1.5mm veg tan leather. I would usually use a contact adhesive but as this was a throwaway piece and I needed it quickly I decided to try this. I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised. The nozzle allows for a reasonably precise application. It dries fast and gives a really strong bond in just 20 minutes. Basically it does exactly what it says it will do. I will definitely purchase it again and would recommend it to anyone wanting an almost instant bond on leather.

I bought these glue for my glasswork. It works but takes a while, and leaves bobbles behind. But suggest this for using in places you don’t need to see the glue. It’s strong definitely I can guarantee

I bought this because I needed to glue some safety glass panels to a wooden frame for a craft project I was working on. After being clamped together for 24 hours with a generous spread of product all along the contact points, the glue formed a firm but flexible bond, and dried completely clear – exactly as stated on the packaging. The solvent smell was potent during drying, so I would recommend only using this in a well-ventilated area and away from any heat sources or flames (as well as pets and small children). In all, very happy with this product.

Don't buy this glue! The only thing it works on is your skin, which as it is SO stringy and difficult to control, it gets all over. Blobby, stringy, lumpy, you can't effectively use It for anything let alone jewellery as everything comes apart with a slight tug. I originally bought this to glue some hama bead art together to make coasters but it was so thick and stringy I couldn't use it, lumpy too. And I peeled it off with no problem ( off the plastic beads that is, not me). I put it away for a while. Yesterday, in desperation as my other glues were dried up, I'd put a blob on a cardboard sheet to dip my small findings into. Tricky, as it was also by then all over my fingers. It was tacky alright, so I thought ok, second chance, here goes. Difficult to dip into as it was so thick but anyway managed to somehow stick the earring posts to the charms, left overnight, and this morning they all came off straight away. Not only that, but it peeled off the cardboard as well! Now my fingers on the other hand took ages of literally chewing the glue off. On top of that, did I mention? It's stringy. In short a nightmare. Don't buy, you have been warned! :-)

Dries into a bulky plastic like mass. Not suitable for visible areas. Takes time to dry. Good bonding though.

This is probably the most useful general purpose adhesive around. Keep an eye on the market though because the cost varies in almost a two to one range over time. It does dry clear, it is water resistant, bonds quickly and is very strong. I use this for building electronic projects using foam core mat board as the chassis. With Beacon 527 I can glue battery holders, toggle switches, 1/8" stereo input jacks, smallloudspeakers that weigh about 12 oz. each and circuit boards. I even use zip ties to wrap wires and glue them to the mat board with 527. Everything stays in place. The adhesive bonds quickly and seems to gain a little strength ever after a few days. The bond is not brittle. There are no noxious vapors either unlike E6000 or Amazing Goop adhesives. Those have their uses too because they are more flexible and fill gaps better -- but for most of my uses the 527 is my go to adhesive now. Highly recommended.

Have bought it again twice. Love it!! Easy to use, adheres quickly and then cures permanently in a while. Easy to remove any residue from fingers. Dries clear. Faster acting than other brands such as Aileen’s.
