I never thought I'd have to buy a child leash but dealing with a 4 year old who loves to just take off and run all the time I had to look into one so I ordered this. It works great and does the job. I like that it has the extra things to hook up to a chair. That is very handy if you have a kid who can't sit still when it's time to eat. This is a great product I recommend this to anyone who deals with a child who likes running off, this product is a Lifesaver!!

Yes this is a little flimsy and it runs small but it is cheap! It works great for my 2 year old but she is really tiny for her age. She can easily undue the top chest strap since its a simple snap button but she leaves the main clip alone and has no problem wearing this. I made my own leash for this and it was a life saver when we went on vacation.

My 1.5 year old loves his "leash"! It helps to keep him safe when I take him on walks, as I usually have a few other kids with me as well. He can then walk safely, while I make sure he stays out of the road and can also pay attention to everyone else as we walk. I like this leash because it didn't come with a useless backpack, so he felt free to run around and it didn't add any bulk or heat to him. It clips on easily and is secure!

The Baby Buddy Deluxe Secure Harness is a cheap piece of..... I received it yesterday and am EXTREMELY disappointed with it's quality. All of the plastic components look and feel like they will break if they are put under any strain, it's just to keep my child safe so it's sturdiness and reliability are very important. The real kicker is that it was broken when I removed it from the packaging and I know it was packed that way because the pieces that were broken off were not in the package with the harness. I will repair it myself because it will be easier and more than likely cheaper. I also know that if I replace the parts (the clasp that actually holds the harness on my daughter) I will replace it with much better quality parts than what it came with. Very dissapointed!

We love this. It holds our toddler to the shopping carts much better than the straps built into the carts. My only complaint is the way you attach it involves looping the straps around the bars of the cart. This requires you to detach both straps from the harness every single time you take it on and off. That got old real fast. We remedied this by attaching some small carabiners to the looped ends and just snap them on and off the cart, super easy and fast now... seems like a simple convenience feature that was sadly over looked.

I have really loved having this harness for my grandson. He is 3 and super active. Since he has apraxia of speech he has trouble communicating with anyone outside the family who understands his signs. He weighs 40 pounds and it still fits him well. The only drawback in the design is that I wish that the leash that connects to the back of the harness was easier to disconnect. It has to be threaded through the back but it is a very secure hold. My guess is that you could spend more and get a nicer set up BUT for the money it's great and it works perfectly!

The harness itself looked to be well-made and sturdy, but the rest of it is unusable. It comes with two short straps so you can strap your child to a high chair, stroller, shopping cart, or anything you want your child to sit in that doesn't have a safety strap. You're supposed to loop the straps to the seat, and then hook the child to the straps. However, you can't look the straps at all! So then they're useless. It also comes with a longer lead that can attach directly to the harness or you can wrap around your child's wrist. The wrist part works, but you cannot strap it to the harness. If you did rig it to where you could, it's not an easy unstrap - you'd have to unrig it. Now with a kid who needs a harness like this, that does not seem very smart. The illustrations to show how to use it are great - the original intent of this harness is smart and would accomplish all I need. However,the actual item is 100% useless. You can't even use the harness as a safety vest as there is no reflective tape or anything on it.

This is one of these rare things I buy that don't get my comment "good, but if it only had this one more feature...". My harness also had no flaws. I am happy i got it, and is better tahn some other ones I had before. . It saved me a lot of headache with my, now 2.5 year-old, kid who has only known how to run ever since he started walking, and has put himself in dangerous situations many times. Some people look at me with dispise because it reminds them of a dog leash, but those people don't know how my life looks without the harness: I can grab the kid by his hand but soon he would be frustrated by the prison and start screaming. This way he runs around me, or we both run alongside until I can keep up. So he still has the freedom, and yet he can't run into a danger I can't save him from. For me, this is a must-have, literally.

I've used this to secure my daughter in her high chair and it has been excellent.

We purchased this harness for our daughter's godmother who has two children under the ages of 18mths. The Baby Buddy Deluxe Security Harness allows your child its independence and yet still keeping them safe. We too had children 18mths apart and our eldest wanted to be able to walk freely while we pushed our little one in the stroller; however, we were concerned about her running away. How could we deal with one in the stroller and one on the lose? We found the harness was a perfect solution for both of us and it worked very well in teaching our daughter, although she was able to have her freedom, there was a limit to her boundaries. We know some might think or have heard the comments of those who foolishly state "it looks like your child is on a leash". We used our harness frequently and there was only one negative comment; however, we did receive many positive comments from those whom understand the heart and soul of a parent. The negative comment never bother us for we knew at end of our walk/journey, our daughter was coming home safe with us because we used the harness. It was with our experience in mind, we purchased the Baby Buddy Deluxe Security Harness for our daughter's godmother. She is now grateful to be able to give their child the freedom she desires, whilst having the security of knowing she is safe and within arms reach. Ordering on Amazon was easy, delivery was on time and the cost is priceless for the piece of mind you will receive.

A very good, universal, harness. I made a swing for my grandsons and needs a safety harness to fit on it. This filled the bill admirably.

Bueno... lo cierto es que no estaba comprando un producto demasiado caro... en cuanto a la calidad si corresponde con el precio, pero el color no es correcto, dice que es blanco y a mi me ha llegado de color rojo anaranjado.... creo que no lo recomendaria.
