I bought this after much research online. I am following the curly girl haircare routine.A heated hair covering was recommended to actively open the hairs cuticles, allowing your chosen deep conditioner to penatrate the hair.I heated the hair cap in my microwave as per the instructions at 30 sec intervals not exceeding 2 minutes.I put my hair mask on damp hair, covered it with a regular shower cap then put the heated cap on top. This was easier said than done. The first cap kind of came off in the heated one, it is a very snug fit. This lead to the heated cap kind of burning my hairline at the front. This was not due to the proclduct being faulty just my inability to juggle getting two caps on.I sat back for 30 minutes, my hair dripped so I had to sit with a towel round my neck.The end result was pleasing. Although to be honest after 10 minutes the cap was cold, with the heat retained underneath so still working.I would recommend this product but it isn't easy to use and is expensive. Be prepared for a bit of a faf. Maybe the same result could be attained by slightly heating your deep conditioner and wearing a plastic cap. Also if you have long hair it might not fit, my hair is just below my shoulders and I struggled.

Good for 3 times use and after “ product inside the cap” becomes like hard plastic!

Hi, I used this four times over the course of 11 months to condition my hair with a hair product. Bit difficult to use as it had both cold and unbearably hot spots after microwaving because it has uneven thickness. I've just had to throw it out as the gel inside when hard and stiff and is now unusable. Not good value for money unfortunately.

Thought I would try this product to see if I could recreate the softness and bouncy curls I can only achieve at the hairdresser. It left my hair beautifully moisturised and full of bouncy curls.

it provides heat for a quick deep condition or hot oil treatment but the heat wasn't evenly distributed across the head. still use it though.
