Great little light with versatility!
Great little light. Click button works great, but the silent, twist-lense, on/off feature was preferable as I was using it backstage in a theater production - it was silent. Two levels of brightness were useful as well.

One solid little powerhouse of a AA flashlight, cool white tint.
Ive been looking for a supplementary light that was smaller than my 18650 powered lights that could take Eneloop NIMH or standard Alkaline AAs. This Ultratac is ultimately what I ended up with after reading quite a few reviews on pocket AA lights. It feels solidly built, the threads are smooth, square cut, the reverse clicky has a smooth, solid click. The output is among the best in class for AA powered lights, especially at this price point. Very happy there are no strobes at all. The output is ~220 lumens of cool white, decent CRI light. The color isnt anything to write home about if youre a tint snob, but most people wont care. The driver is a full output driver, youll get about 200-220 lumens for the life of the battery before it shuts off at about .85v. 220 lumens doesnt sound like much, but this light's 3 modes are nicely spaced, and high is enough to light up a small backyard pretty well. My only complaint for my use is that I hate cool white tints. I would gladly pay a premium for a 4000k XP-L or XPL-HI emitter even with the slight decrease in output. Ill probably need to reflow a different LED at some point on this light. Also, for anyone looking at the clip, yes its very flimsy but it does have decent tension. It IS NOT a deep carry clip if you couldnt tell.

Great EDC pen light.
The brightness of this flashlight impressed me even after reading the description and reviews. I have carried it at work every day since I purchased it and have had no issues with the light itself or with the clip bending or losing shape. Excellent for EDC whether you're at home, work, or in the great outdoors.

Was a good deal; now a ripoff
These are really nice lights. I got a couple of these lights at $7, then two more at $10. Now the vendor has them at $7 with $5 shipping for a total of $12. No, they aren't worth twelve dollars. Shop around.

WARRANTY IS A LIE. Worked great for two months, then died. Support requests were repeatedly ignored.
The A7P is a cooler white than my usual preference, but worked great for working on/under cars as my EDC chest pocket work light. It's got a very solid brightness and beam focus. Only two brightness modes, no moonlight low-output mode but I prefer that for an every day work light. I had alternated between this and the warmer light of the Thrunite Ti-4, but for my usage preferred the rubber bumper on the A7P's tail switch for dust protection, and more basic UI. Died after about two months of daily use. Emailed support multiple times and have not heard a response after several months. Would be a great light for the price if it didn't become trash so quickly. I wish Amazon would do something about their false advertising of a warranty.

Best flashlight yet?
Really good flashlight. 3 settings - I use dim and bright the most. Stands on end to light a room. Super small. Good battery life. After enjoying mine I have purchased 6 as stocking stuffers....

Five Stars at $7 Price Point!
I really like the daul mode activation switch with dimmer than brighter. I wish it carried deeper but for the price point I think it’s the best I have seen so far! Very impressive for only seven dollars!
