God's Best for My Life: A Classic Daily Devotional Hardcover – July 1, 2008

Ogilvie really excels at composing pithy daily devotionals. It is astounding how much insight and encouragement he can fit into a one page devotional. My whole family uses this devotional and we always recommend it to friends. Ogilvie has another devotional called Quiet Moments with God which takes a different approach but is just as potent. This truly has helped me develop in my walk and Christian maturity though I still have a very, very long way to go and there's always more and more to learn.

Awesome book! As a former member of Hollywood Presbyterian Church during Dr. Ogilvie's tenure, I recommend "God's Best For My Life" and any book written by Dr. Ogilvie. He is a fabulous teacher and wonderful man of God.

Thoroughly enjoying these meditations with meaningful “Food for thought”. I love that there is a flow to the meditations, kind of organized in themes.

God' s Best for My Life is a fantastic daily devotional. L. J. Ogilivie opens the jewels of the Scriptures in this book. The truths he unlocks in this book helps me understand the Bible more each day. I plan to read this devotional year after year. It will never grow old!

I have the previous version which is a larger book size and which has larger and CLEAR print.Too bad they reduced both size and print.But 5 stars for content for sure! Not shallow. Ogilvie has depth in illustration of principles & understanding spiritual concepts.Terrific devotional.

Dr. Ogilvie's application of the scriptures has a way of hitting close to home. It is the only devotional book that I go to when I am short on time to read through some passages in the the Bible.

Had the hardback copy for years.Love it. It is an easily accessible means to plug into God's messages to us and apply them to each day. ♡

very coolness deep words and scriptures from God and Ogilvie. they make a great team. I reccomend it for deep spiritual guidance and wisdom. covers concepts like negativism and abilities.
