an okayish product i have finshed 3 bottles coz it works for me but not the best shampoo out there...it does dry out hair but with the use of a good conditioner its manageable.... the best thing about this shampoo was it doesnt contribute to hairfall which i always faced with other shampoos , the sulfates being too harsh and sulfate free shampoo doesnt work for me... so that way this shampoo is a gentler better option for me till i find a better alternative to it... it has mild surfactants which is sufficient for cleaning my scalp.. the smell is very overwhelming i dont like at all but it fades away after wash since i use other conditioner and hair products, otherwise smell lingers... quantity is dissapointing for the price, very small... but i have given it 4 star even after the cons coz it somehow still works for me more than other shampoos... (also i have curly 2c/3a medium fine hair)

My title is enough to narrate this product. But don't purchase it any unreliable store. They ( company - body shop) directly supply through Amazon, and that guarantees you get genuine products. As a shampoo it works miraculously, my hair got smooth silky and no side effects. It's mild but effective.And small quantity does the trick. Now I am going to attach to it permanently.

Was looking for a vegan conditioner. Happy to use it. I'm using on my straightened hair, good results. Satisfied 👍

All natural and Vegan marketing gimmick. It contains SLS /SLES which is a carcinogen and also not recommended. There are better options in indian brands withouth SLS.

I love this shampoo as I have a sensitive scalp and most shampoos make me itch but this one is lovely and kind and causes no problems. Since the demise of our high street branch of Bodyshop it has been very difficult to get but Amazon has it, so problem solved - Juliet Oldring

I love that The Body Shop Shea Intense Repair Shampoo uses ethically sourced ingredients, is 92% natural-origin, and is certified vegan. Those are all big positives for me when choosing hair care products. I have other Shea-scented products from The Body Shop that smell more floral, so I was surprised that this shampoo has a woodsy, more masculine scent with no noticeable floral smell. I was actually very happy about that because I’m not a big fan of floral scents. The woodsy scent is pleasant, not overpowering, and the scent lingers long after my shower. The shampoo lathers well and creates a nice foam that leaves my scalp feeling clean without feeling stripped. It definitely works as a good moisturizing shampoo for dry, damaged hair. It comes in an 8.4-ounce bottle for about $20, and while it works like it says it will, I don’t find that it repairs my hair or reduces breakage any better than my current shampoo that costs much less for a larger quantity. So, while I do like the product, I’m not sure the higher price is justified based on the results alone.

I am slightly unsure how I feel on this one. It felt nourishing and moisturizing as I was using it. I am one to really work my shampoo through my hair, scrubbing my scalp and making sure that my hair is clean all the way to the root. I use a brush specific for shampooing so my scalp is stimulated during the process. My hair and scalp seemed quite happy from this repair shampoo, it felt smooth like hair does generally after conditioning. But when I rinsed it out, this softness and smoothness went away. The perks of using the shea butter did not seem to remain behind. I conditioned with a K-beauty conditioner I use for moisture and and added a light leave in spray too when I was out of the shower. Last night my hair didn't feel like it had received special treatment. However, today - it looks pretty dang good. Generally my hair on day 2 after washing it, looks not that great. Typically a week out I'm avoiding washing it - by use of dry shampoo, that it's beginning to look great. Somehow my hair already looks pretty good and I'm not saying my hair is dirty. I think there was some repair on my hair by this shampoo, even if only one wash. I might forgot about putting off washing it next week and and set the dry shampoo to the side and wash it again sooner than normal. Next time I will use it with the Body shop conditioner as well. I believe I have a small amount of it left from an Advent Calendar, I would get best results this way I imagine. Or most reliable. I did handle my hair a certain way last night that may have been a confounding factor in it looking good today, not just the shampoo. I'm just not sure. It smells nice. It lathers. It isn't very expensive. It checks a lot of boxes. I'm just not sure if it really repairs better than what I was already using.

I personally have not had to use this, but I got it for my wife and she said it works very well. Her hair smells great, and looks/feels healthier. Pros: + The Body Shop is a well known, trusted brand. My wife was comfortable with putting this stuff in her hair. + Very nice neutral scent. Nothing that will make your head hurt or overwhelm your senses. + Does what it says! My wife had some dry, damaged hair, and this shampoo worked to help make it feel and look healthier. You do need to use it regularly. Cons: - I know the product page specifies that this bottle is 8.4 oz, but the bottle seems tiny when you get it. For $20 a bottle (at time of this review), that doesn't seem like a great value. If you have a lot of hair I would not expect this to last more than a couple of weeks.
