Uncle Bob® Pack of 12 Replacement Sprung Wooden Bed Slats Size 700mm Lenght 53mm Wide for Double Bed

I’ll set the scene, it’s 3am and I’m snoring away, only to get woken up by the wife falling through the bed. I didn’t know slats started to straighten over the years, only to bow the other way, then give way and you fall through the bed. Needless to say, the wife found this out. Now normally I wouldn’t laugh but this time I did. Let’s face it, it’s pretty hilarious. That silence and peacefulness to be broken by someone’s derrière hitting the floor followed by some choice words and me giggling like a schoolgirl. To the rescue comes the addition of new wood slats. Perfect size. Perfect thickness. Perfect length. Stay with me it’s wood. I’m not sure what else I can say other than these fit into place and hold firm. She’s not fallen through and sadly I’ve had no more giggles that are so worth the lack of sleep. No altering has been necessary. Fully recommend if you want to avoid hijinks at 3am.

Had to cut the slats down by about an inch as they were too long, although it's a double bed, but it does state that in the description that they may need cutting to size. They seem sturdy enough. And they were cheaper than the ones I ordered elsewhere that were delivered to the wrong address. Other than that, they were delivered before the estimated due date and they they have done the job in hand. Thank you

Had to trim them slightly but much better quality than standard ones and would buy again.

Exactly what I needed and a perfect fit too. Once I managed to pull out the plastic attachments from my bed frame they fit like a dream. Bed is nice and sturdy again

The seller will cut the planks to particular size to fit bed which is amazing. I’ve had the replacement planks for a few months and no issues at all they are so much stronger and better quality than my bed from Argos originally came with. No faults with product at all. Amazing product and service!

Look it’s a bargain at that price but it’s that price for a reason out of the 4 slats I ordered 2 were splintered and once they were fixed to the bed 1 broke instantly! Like I said the price is amazing but don’t expect top quality. I will order again if needed but if you want something sturdy go else where!

I had issues with my slats which kept coming loose as they were not sized properly from the bed company and so would occasionally fall out. These ones I bought have pretty much no movement between the holders which is just want I wanted (double bed). They are pretty thick as well. Was offered complimentary cutting to size but I didn't need it. Does what it says on the tin! Shipping came earlier than expected! All in all, very pleased. If any more come loose I will be coming back for more!

This wood is exactly the size I want for reasons entirely unconnected with beds. Price, packaging and delivery were all fine, and the quality is excellent. The fact that the wood is "sprung" (i.e. bent) was slightly annoying, at least for me, but is probably great if you are trying to build a bed. Jonathan
