I bought these to line new aluminum baking sheets I recently bought. I have used them to bake tater tots, reheat pizza and bake other foods that need to brown in tbe oven and get crispy, and they have all turned out well.

I use half sheet stainless steel baking pans, which are heavy and great for making cookies. Stainless steel is also fairly easy to clean. You can take an SOS pad to it and keep it looking new for a long time. But these Vila Baking Mats make baking cookies and cleaning up incredibly fast and easy, which in turn makes you want to bake even more cookies.The cookies don't stick to the pan being on the mat so the pan clean up is super easy. The cookies don't stick to the mats either, with a little push they just slide, so you don't even need a spatula; although a spatula makes getting them off the mat a little bit easier. You can reuse the mats immediately, so you can make as many batches as you want. Just shake off any crumbs that might be left behind and continue on as if it was the first batch.Then when it is time to clean them, just lightly apply soapy water to each side and rinse. No scrubbing necessary at all. You can let them fully air dry but I towel dry mine and then let it sit out for a few minutes to let any remaining moisture evaporate. Then I roll mine up and store them in a jumbo (super wide) zip lock plastic bag.These mats make the cookie baking process so much easier that since getting mine I have baked about 4-5 times as many cookies. Be careful. You'll find yourself getting out your largest mixing bowl and making much larger amount of cookie dough.I use two half sheet pans in the oven at once. Every 20 minutes, including cooking time, cooling time, plating time, and scooping out another set, I can make another batch. I can kick out a few dozen cookies in an hour very easily.Without these mats the process would be impeded with each subsequent batch and so A) I would make fewer batches and B) I would not be inspired to make cookies as often. These mats are a little dangerous because you can make cookies with a lot less effort, and you inevitable will.

This is my first silicon baking mat, and I have mixed opinions about it. First off, the instructions say to put the label side up... but there is no label. Not sure if it's a 50/50 chance you put it on the correct side when baking but I have had no issues as of late.I got these explicitly for cookies. It will impact your bake time, so start off baking just one at a time until you find the sweet spot for bake time. All in all, I prefer using these as opposed to parchment paper but I believe some recipes should be baked on parchment paper to avoid undone centers. Some cookies the edges will be crispy but the middle will be somewhat uncooked.

We have baked scones, cookies and tarts on these baking mats. It is definitely the easy cleanup that makes chefs in our house a big fan of these mats. Bye-bye to parchment paper and scrubbing the baking sheets!

I've used them in the proofer, the oven at 450f, in the deep freeze at -11f. Still working well. The only issue I've had is ensuring the teenager in charge of dishes actually washes them, but I don't believe I can blame the mats for that. I do like that the corners are nipped so it's easier to get under them to remove them from the pan.

These fit my pans exactly the way they were supposed to. I use a lot of parchment paper, and I'm so excited I don't have to anymore! These are also pretty easy to clean. Only thing is, they will leave a little bit of a stain behind after you bake something. But all in all, would definitely buy again.

Perfect for cooking with out messing a lot

Works great for cooking but still greasy when wipped down. Cleans great when put in the dishwasher. Unfortunately the instructions say to place it with the label up, there is no label. So idk if I'm cooking with it right side up or upside down. Both sides feel the same, so i just assume that u can use either side.

These mats fit perfectly inside my 18 x 13 Paderno cookie sheets. Easy to wash and they look great in addition to being good quality! Would definitely buy these again.

Die Backmatten wurden leider in einem Grau geliefert und nicht wie bestellt in Schwarz. Habe sie dennoch behalten, da die Backmatten einen hochwertigen und langlebigen Eindruck machen.
