Nicely made
I’ve been searching for a large enamel coated cast iron pot for a while that wasn’t cost prohibiting. I came across this one and ordered it. I love it! Cooks food evenly and stays at temperature. It cleans very easily and looks beautiful on my stovetop. It bakes bread, soups, stews and sauces perfectly. I use it practically every day. I would definitely recommend it!

Equal to Le Cruset, a lot less pricy
Hubby killed my stainless soup pot by boiling it dry.I decided to get an enameled cast iron pot instead, as I love my Le Cruset pots and pans. I would not pay over $400 for Le Cruset, and I don’t know if they still have outlet stores like 30+ years ago.Reviews on this pot were very helpful, and since I couldn’t get even stainless steel at this price, decided to give it a try.Took a bit longer to get it….about a week.Nicely made, enameling is perfect unlike the Martha Stewart brand that I’ve seen.Weight evenly distributed. Decided on the bright yellow so I could easily tell Hubby which pot I wanted and he could easily identify what I was asking for (a stress reliever!!!)I’ve made soups, roast, pasta gravy and even turnip greens for New Years Day (required in the Deep South). It’s done an excellent job each time.Hint: buy Barkeepers Friend in the gold colored can to use with this. It quickly and easily removes stains on the interior off white enamel. Have been using it on my LeCruset for 40+ years. Does not damage the enamel.I will be adding more from this line, each in a unique color for its purpose. Fewer misunderstandings with Hubby who does not cook!I LOVE THIS POT 💕💕. You will too!!

GREAT Dutch Oven - Perfect shade of blue
Nice 5.5 qt dutch oven. Beautiful color and the size is perfect. I will say, it is a little on the heavy size, but no more so than other brands. We found it to cook nicely and felt it was a great value for the money. We cooked a Mississippi roast and it came out perfect. We like that it goes from the prep, to the cooking, to serving, in the same pot.

Can’t beat the price
I’ve been waiting to purchase a Le Creuset set for years, but the price is just to tough to swallow. After giving up on waiting to find something used or some miraculous sale, I decided that I needed to branch out. Tramontina products have done well in my kitchen, I love their oven safe pro nonstick pans. So, I decided to give them a shot.To find an enameled cast iron dutch oven for under 80 bucks, even used, can be tough. So this purchase should be a no brainer if you’re thinking about it.I purchased the Latte colored option. The pot’s color was similar enough to the picture on Amazon. I don’t expect the color to age well, but that was my choice. There is a minor defect on the the outside of the pan where it looks like a small bit of metal under the enamel was sheared off, but it’s just cosmetic. There are also a couple of minor imperfections in the enamel where it looks like the remnants of a bubble ring left a spot that isn’t the same thickness as the rest of the enamel. I don’t know if that is a matter of quality control or something that simply can’t be avoided.Looking forward to using this more. Will update this review if anything noticeable changes over time 4.5/5

Durable and appealing look
This Dutch oven was just what I needed. Beautiful color and great quality. When the electric goes out in the winter we fire up the wood stove and and use this pot to make a nice roast with potatoes. It’s also great to use in the oven. I would definitely recommend this Dutch oven as it’s of good quality and a nice price too.

Great, beautiful, cooks evenly with lots of flavor!
I held off a long time getting this and now that I have it I find I use it all the time, including making bread!I considered getting one of the expensive ones but this thing is great and I don’t know how one that costs 10x as much can be 10x better. The lid has ridges for “self basting”The handles are large enough so it is is comfortable to pick up.Easy enough to clean but don’t expect it to stay pristine white! The directions say to season the exposed lip on the base and lid with oil and bake in oven. I did this but wish I didn’t. ANY drop of oil you get on the pot will “bake” on and look like a permanent smudge. You wash this thing with soap, unlike non-enameled cast iron, so I don’t really see what seasoning the lip will do. Just make sure you let it dry ALL the way before you put the lid back on and store it.

Just as nice as a Staub or Le Cruset!
I own a Staub 7 quart in Grenadine. But the Staub is better for a large roast or whole chicken and a little too large for baking bread, spaghetti sauce, chili, etc. I wanted a smaller 4 to 5.5 quart size but I didn't want to spend $300 - $400 on another Staub. However I do really love the rich "Grenadine" color offered by Staub. So, I was watching ATK (America's Test Kitchen) and they reviewed dutch ovens and presented the lower cost Tramontina as a reasonably priced alternative to their top choice (Le Cruset). OMG!!!! I found this Tramontina on Amazon for a fraction of the cost of LeCruset or Staub and the color is almost identical to Staub's "Grenadine". The top fits perfectly, the interior is a light color which translates to better cooking results, and you can see the bottom to check for burning or doneness, the handles are large enough to get a good grip on the pot when moving it, and the heat retention is exactly what you would expect from a dutch oven.It was expertly packed and arrived in perfect comdition. Also, the size is a perfect all-around size. Wow! I made a great purchase!

Totalmente inconforme.
Me decepcionó por completo, llegó con la pintura botada, mal empacada y tardó 6 mese en llegar, por ello la voy a regresar.
