Works well!
Country life can be expensive when the tree roots clog the septic. This is a good product and recommended to me by the septic company! I have been using this for a couple of years now and find it keeps my drains clearer, easy to use, no bad smell, and cost effective. Thank you for making a great long lasting product that functions and performs the way it was designed.

Keeps the septic main line clear
About a year and a half ago my septic backed up and nothing I could do would get it flowing again so i had to call the professionals in. Turned out my main septic line from the house to the tank was clogged with roots so $900 later they were able to power snake it out and clear the line. The septic guy told me I can avoid this happening by using this stuff every 6 months. I flush a half of a bottle in my downstairs toilet (closest to the main line). I have had no more problems and drain is clear.

Good Product
I got this to use after the Main Line was cleaned due to a bunch of small roots. This should kill the roots!

It works, but the details can be difficult
I had a root ball in my sewer pipe and I'd used a couple different salt based root killers on it with no noticeable effect. I got this zep copper sulfate formula and applied 1/4 of the bottle on the first day, again on the 2nd day and again on the 3rd day. By that point I'd created a full plug of dead roots in the sewer pipe. Whereas it had been flowing slowly, now it was stopped. I called a plumber to clear the dead roots, but I got no response from them. I had a small sewer snake and I ran it down the pipe to see if I could break the plug. I had limited success but the pipe did drain away. On the 4th day I ran the sewer snake down the pipe again and it was just went right thru the dead root ball, and the pipe drained quickly. After more water use in the sewer pipe I determined that I still have a 75% plug. But 25% clear is enough to drain the pipe in about 2 minutes. So, conclusion, The product works, but be prepared to call a plumber to assist. The product label says to apply every so often to keep the roots out. That makes sense and I'll be sending my last 1/4 bottle down the pipe soon.

Works Well
I use this annually in my septic pump tank to help kill roots in my drain field. I have been doing this for 8 years and I have not had any issues. I dissolve it in warm water and pour it into my pump tank. I have heard some copper sulfate root killers can harm helpful bacteria in a septic system, so a few weeks after using this root killer, I add Pro-pump to my first septic tank.

Awesome! Highly recommend this!
I have access to my sewer drain right outside my house. It started over flowing in my yard. I put a scope camera down my sewer and I had roots. I used this root killer. After 2 weeks I don't have any standing water in my drain pipe. Drains fast and clear now! Highly recommend this and will use again every 6 - 8 months!

Plumber instructed me to put 1cup in toilet for every 2 weeks to hopefully prevent further issues. No further problems at this point!

Container Sucks, Not sure about Ingredients yet
The manufacturer uses a plastic bottle with a twist to tighten and close lid. It has a safety feature similar to vitamin bottles, where you have to push the lid down to open it. Well, the safety feature doesn’t matter because the little granules of chemicals easily leak out while the lid is on. There’s also no safety seal under the lid. The manufacturer needs to improve the packaging so it doesn’t easily leak out and also so it’s safer.
