free wheeling modern design and just what I needed

My wife absolutely loved its contents.

I may be returning this book to Amazon. I had hoped to buy it as a reference book and inspiration for bold color pallets and as a source of ideas in my own home decorating. However, I found the majority of it was garish, and had rooms decorated around expensive designer furniture pieces that were way out of the average person's price range. Also, while the photographs were lovely, there were a lot of photos of the SAME room at different angles on different pages rather than the huge variety of homes and interiors I was expecting. I love color, but many of these homes looked almost avant-garde with more 'show' pieces than 'live in' pieces. I want to decorate with pieces that get used rather than say a custom incredibly expensive double wide tub that costs more than all the furniture in my home. I honestly get better inspiration off Pinterest than I will get from this book.

I love bright colors & I love decorating & design ideas. So, I enjoyed the photographed interiors. The price & quality were good.
