great illustrations!
What a fun way to tell some familiar stories from the Bible. The perspective is from that of an animal. The illustrations are colorful and humorous. It is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers.

Too Much Literary License For a Bible Story Book
Stories are told by animals who are imagined to have witnessed various events in the Bible. Can be very misleading to a child, strays from Biblical truth.

These books are beautifully illustrated and wonderful stories to engage children in bible stories. I had them for my own children and am now buying them for the next generation! Personally I preferred the older versions that had more muted colours on the covers rather than the bright red and green

Christening gift
A regular buy for me as a lovely Christening gift. I buy this and the green Stories Jesus Told. I also use them both regularly in my role as a primary school teacher. Beautifully illustrated and each story within the book is about a 5/10 min read.

Bible Stories told by Animals
Nick Butterworth and Mick Inkpen have a real gift for bringing bible stories alive for children. The stories are told in the present tense by animals witnessing the events backed up by clear illustrations in soft colours. We give these books, along with 'Stories Jesus Told' by the same authors, to children being Baptised in our church. The books are attractively presented and the stories good to read out loud.
