Leyuee Wi-Fi Smart Plug Compatible with Alexa Google Home Echo Wireless Smart Socket Remote Control Your Devices for iPhone Android Devices (UK Plug)

A nice simple fun gadget that you pair with your phone to set up on your WiFi and can then use with your Amazon Echo, Google Home hub or other smart voice assistant. The application on the phone is called eFamilyCloud and it is available for Android and even apple phones. The skill you need to use on Alexa has the same name. I note however that the Smart Life skill I use for my smart essential oil diffuser also finds this socket and the eFamilyCloud skill knows about my other devices too so if you already use smart devices with the Echo you will probably find that the same skill works with this device. You probably want to change the device's name to something a bit more meaningful than socket....There is also a push button on the front of the smart socket that you can use to turn the device on or off. On first fitting it defaults to ON.

Easy to set up and well built.This Leyuee Smart Plug was the first of my Alexa products I've purchased. It came well boxed and is made from a very durable plastic.Set-up was very easy, and since purchasing this I have also brought several other models of plugs and this one is right at the top for ease of connectivity.I used the app TuyaSmart to connect to this plug and it also works perfectly with all my bulbs. In fact the majority of the smart devices I have brought all seem to work with the same software. The software generally appears to be a skin change for an app, except for one set of plugs I have brought.I have not had any issues with the plug since purchasing although I do wish it was a little smaller like another smart plug I brought recently, however this does have more modes. Works as expected. Connected the device via the Tuya Smart app on Android as it seems better than the SmartLife one. Had no issues controlling it.

Worke well with a table lamp and an Amazon Echo, no problems pairing it up, software works ok.

Would not connect to wif but when it did I woundnt turn on so I wouldn’t buy it but I brought 3 so there going right back

Great product allows me to turn lights or heating on from anywhere works brilliantly and Alexa likes it too.

Have spent the evening trying to link this product to Alexia and failed. Basically it requires a link to an external website eFamilyCloud, this frankly does not work. The instructions are very poor and I'm so disappointed. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm so tied of it now and decided to try another manufacturer.

After ten days the product stopped working. It responded to wifi commands but did not turn the power off. This is the second wifi socket I have purchased and despite having a different company name i am convinced they are made by the same manufacturer. Do not waste your money on these items.
