Cleaning after use.
This is the second distiller I bought because I accidently broke the first distiller glass carafe. A replacement would be out of range price wise plus shipping. But I purchased the second one because these machines as A plus. They do exactly as described. Very, Very satisfied. My water is city supplied but is VERY hard with big time mineral content. I need humid-ity because of a health problem. For your info, be sure to clean the distiller main container after each use if you have hard water. I found Vinegar to be very good. After cleaning, rinse well, fill main container, hook up, and complete another cycle. Recommend highly, they are excellent.

Works well
Update: Died after 20 months. Used 3-4 times a week.Works well, I do not use for drinking, just for humidifier and CPAP. Cleans easily with a splash of white vinegar at the end of the cycle that I let sit for a short while, rinse and start over again. I do find it a bit awkward removing the top from the base when the cycle finishes as there is no good place to grab and lift. The glass pot is difficult to pour from, so I decant into a wide top gallon pitcher first.

Easy to use
So far mine has been a work horse for me. I couldn't be more pleased. The craft could be better designed for easier pouring but I manage. I hope it last a long time!

Follow up
You don't want to deal with these people. It started spewing water out the gasket. Wrote the Co. about the problem and they said to buy a new carafe. What? Emails continued for a month and then they ended it by saying that year warranty was up and they could no longer help. It was only 10 months, they thought the year had 10 months. Bottom line......they don't understand English.

Quality first!
Very very well built! Sent a question in about the filter. Replaceable? Manual is very basic. Very happy this first day if useage.

Poor quality on/off switch
I bought 2 of these distillers, the first in September of 2019. The on/off switch on one of these distillers has already malfunctioned.

6Nov2019 The Distiller is much better than I expected. I've only used it twice so far and it works great. Uses about 720-730 watts. So where I live that's about .35 cents a gallon. Not bad. And I thought it would be hot it's not, it distills cool. Will be making more purchases from this seller.
