Great for potty training!
I had been looking for some waterproof underwear covers while potty training my toddler. I wanted to get him out of the pull ups, but wanted to have some sort of back up incase he had an accident. Like other reviewers said, they run big. I went with a size medium and they were perfect for my 32 lb, 38 inch tall 3 year old. I will say they became discolored when he wore them with a pair of dark pants, but otherwise they work really nicely for what I needed them for. Keeps any accidents from going out all over the place. I plan to purchase another pack just because we need more than two.

Size down - they are big
These work really well for potty training toddler. Just slip over cloth underwear and they prevent leaks. My grandson is about 30 lbs and I purchased the Medium (20-25 lbs) and they were still pretty large even with thicker cloth underwear, but the elastic band fit well around the legs so no leaking.

Cheap and effective-- and way over-sized!
These are huge! My son is 25 lbs, 10 oz, and I have him in mediums, which are stated to fit up to 25 lbs. I'm glad I followed the advice of other reviewers and sized down. These are baggy even over his extra large night-time diapers. We're just starting potty training and got these to pull up over training pants during naptimes and when we go out. They are working well for that purpose. They do hold in quite a bit of urine, even though they're not a tight fit around the legs. The elastic around the waist and legs seems comfortable, and the slightly looser fit seems to be an advantage for potty training, as my son is still able to pull them down with his undies fairly easily. As an aside, we call these his "over-undies," so he still feels like he's wearing undies instead of a diaper with a diaper cover. Not sure how well they will hold up over time, but they seem decently made and, at this low cost, still seem to be a good value even if they don't last long.

Great product for potty training, truly waterproof when used correctly, runs big
Fantastic product for potty training- truly waterproof (without containing any vinyl). We use them over training pants and they do not leak at all. They do not make a noticeable crinkling noise when baby walks either. What a great alternative to having to wash the carseat or carpet every time we have an accident! They are super easy to wash (if they aren't soiled I just rinse them in the sink with warm water - then just hang them up and they dry overnight). They do run quite large, maybe in part because they are sized for use with huge cloth diapers (when we used them over training pants instead). We are just growing out of the size small now, at 32" tall and 26 lbs. So definitely size down.PS here's a crucial tip: To avoid leaking from user error, you have to make sure that ALL OF THE ABSORBENT MATERIAL IS FULLY CONTAINED WITHIN THE COVER. If you allow even the slightest bit of training pant material to peek out of one of the leg holes or the waist, the moisture will wick out and you will have wet clothes. It took a little while to figure this out, but now that I've gotten myself in the habit of just tucking everything in when I put them on, we haven't had a leak since.

Really good!!!!!!!
This is very good for potty training. It holds the #1 & 2s very well. I have not had any leakage from i started using this. The liquid stays in the plastic until you pull it down for removal. I bought a medium for my 2 year old, its a little big (not sure if that's how its suppose to fit) but it works well, the holes for the legs are tightly fitted (to prevent any leaks). Overall, i would recommend.

The elastic is not waterproof
Maybe I'm using them wrong, but I cloth diaper my 8 month old with inserts and he leaks almost every time. I change him often and I know right when he pees because it will go right through to his outfit immediately. I compared to my older covers and it doesn't have an kind of waterproofing on the elastic bands so when he pees the parts around his legs soak it right up and transfer the wetness to his clothes.Otherwise, they are good for the money and the rest is very water resistant. They've held up fine in the wash. I just don't wear these covers on him out of the house.

Durable and reliable
Yes, these run large but I knew that when I purchased them. I purchased a medium for my 25 pound 18-month-old son who will be potty training soon. I bought them to fit over Under the Nile training pants, size 12-24 months, and they are just about perfect. They are a little "balloon-y" looking, but they do smoosh down under clothes. I probably could go down to a small but I'm afraid the leg holes would be too tight then. They are just right on my guy's skinny thighs right now, with a little room to grow.We used these for cloth diapering in the newborn phase and they worked well then, too. We used them over prefolds.A few notes about durability and other uses for these:We put these on over my son's night diaper (Pampers Extra Protection or Huggies Overnights) because we have problems with dampness. My son pees a ton overnight and these help.My son had the stomach flu a couple weeks ago. He had one of these on when he went to bed, and he woke up with a very full diaper and had pooped all over the place. While this cover didn't hold the mess (there is NO WAY any cover could have) I was very worried that it would be beyond stained. I threw it in the wash with the rest of his poopy bedding and clothing and it came out without a stain on it. Anywhere. It was actually amazing, because it had been covered in poop. So these apparently don't stain easily. Our newborn Dappi is also stain free, despite fielding 8 weeks of newborn poop.Very solid and reliable, cheap, workhorse cover. Not as easy as a wrap cover, but one of the trimmest out there for under clothes, and a great alternative to Gerber "rubber pants" for potty training.
