Organic Black Cumin Seeds

Seeds are very clean, fresh, and uniform in size and quality. I sprinkled one teaspoon on my food every day. Just one day after I started using these seeds my hearth burn was gone and my digestion accelerated. I also felt calm and easy and I am not bloated anymore. The burning sensation I felt on my esophagus and on the sides of my neck and on the back and the top of my head after eating is gone. My sinus allergies are cleared too and my neck is not stiff anymore. I really do not remember how I ran across the information about Black Seeds (Nigella Sativa), but I am glad I found it. I have now read more articles about the history and benefits of consuming these seeds and I think they are true. I cannot say more about the goodness of black seeds because I do not want my review to not be published. All I can say is that I am planning to consume them for as long as I can. I highly recommend these seeds and this brand. I still have to try black seed oil but I am sure it will be as good as the raw seeds.

UPDATE 07 MAY 22:Have not bought Terrasoul black seed for a while now as they've been missing from Amazon a while (and missed)... have tried other brands in the meantime, and have come back this one, despite not being the price leader -- for what I get, that's fine for two reasons.I want to make perfectly clear: compared to exp with other brands, this one's product quality is far beyond what I've seen in others -- and half of that has nothing to do with the product, but how they package it...Other brands insist on using bag with a zipper seal that never works, is undersized so pulls open with the slightest nudge, or fills with product so it never seals. This isn't a problem on a Terrasoul bag, which trust me, is a big deal -- rather than having to transfer powder / tiny seeds / dusty debris to a Ziploc bag every time I open one new, it's nice to actually use the seal on the bag they ship in -- which *all* brands should be capable of doing properly.And the effects on health? BP has stayed normal despite having to sacrifice some of my uber-healthy greens and beans diet to cost and availability woes (welcome to pandemic drama) and can now push my body when needed a bit more than before despite my diet being a touch less perfect. Keeper.Five stars *****Unfortunately I live in tropical heat so temps may have degraded the health benefits a bit (90 degF now). But happy to try out Nigella sativa seed as all my trusted health and diet resources rave about it...Placed in a peppermill and grind out a third of a teaspoon over my food during the course of a day. Lovely milder spice than peppercorns with a more floral aftertaste -- probably not for everyone but I dig it.Hard to believe nigella seed's almost a staple in the UK -- they've had it there as a common spice for decades before research showed the astonishing health benefits on pennies-worth a day... good time to be a nigella farmer I suppose.My own exp is lacking right now as I've just received the shipment... but so far its claims of relaxing smooth (intestinal) muscle and lower BP, seem to be on point, no other changes made (am already on a quite clean diet so any change there >=5% is noteworthy)...More to come as I integrate this into my diet ;)

From what I understand, black cumin seeds need to be toasted to release the oils before consuming. I've also read that they are used a lot in traditional eastern and middle eastern cuisine, whereby it seems they are cooked to some degree. I've seen some who say they put them on salads and grind them, but I simply toasted 1/2 to 1 tsp in a frying pan, without oil, or in the oven, and chewed them. I liked the flavor, although it is a strong flavor, sort of between bitter and nutty, so this would be the type of item people would need to experiment with to see what their personal preference is like. As with anything, moderation is probably important, so don't go overboard due to how small the serving size is (would be my suggestion).

From other reviews of other brands of black cumin seed/nigella sativa, some people have indicated they think sometimes they are getting a product that may have had some of the helpful oils removed. I don't think that is the case here, as it has that pine-like, turpentine-like smell to the seed that many who have knowledge of it say is indicating it's a good, whole-seed product. In fact, I noticed it immediately upon opening the Terrasoul bag, which I can't say has happened with other bags I have gotten before from other companies. Usually, I will smell it once I grind the product, but with the Terrasoul it just smells even stronger once I grind it.I think taking the whole food product the way it was taken in ancient times is probably closer to what people have done for years that made this such a famous herbal food health-enhancer in the first place (as a opposed to concentrating it down the the oil). I grind in small-ish amounts and use up in various things before grinding again. Seems to support sleep, mood, relaxation, detoxification and helps with overall, day-to-day pain.Other reviewers of other brands/companies of this product also sometimes mention seeing bugs in the bags. Considering original product comes from the overseas countries, that is can be something to think about getting the seed instead of the oil, but there isn't any issue with that with this Terrasoul product, clean as a whistle. Pretty competitively price, next time I may buy in bigger bulk size, save even a little bit more money!

I make blackseed oil with these. Look up what it helps with and yes it does work!! I take it daily and several times a day if I do get sick. However I have fought off so much illness since beginning introducing blackseed in my life. Im not a physician. Just sharing what I can. If your searching for blackseed, you already probably know. This brand is great quality!
