EDIT (5/4/2019): Xroose did great supporting this product. I had two of the cameras at the rear of the trailer that did not reliably send video. They shipped me two antenna extensions that, after some work mounting them on the trailer, the cameras now are reliably showing up. It took some work getting mounting brackets made for the roof of the trailer but it works well now.I must say that the customer service by this company has been top notch. In fact, I don't know if I ever had better support for consumer product such as this. For that alone, I will be looking out for and purchasing from them again if the option should ever come up.--- Original Review ---After spending a day (or two, actually) installing the cameras and testing each one, I am happy with all but one. The camera at the back of the trailer (a horse trailer) that is the "backup" camera does not show in the 4-up view. However, if I switch to just that camera, the image shows up - at least in my parking spot. I have yet to take it out on the road. (I have been trying to figure out why that camera does not show up)Also, the camera sometimes does blink off - but I have checked the power and it is stable (and it is connected to the same power tap as the interior camera to monitor the horses - which always seems to work.)I wonder if I need an antenna extension for the rear camera due to the aluminum frame being in the way.Otherwise, the product is nice. The monitor mounting options are good (albeit I wish there was another axis of movement so I could tilt it to the driver without rotating it to be not level - I have it mounted just to the right of center at the top of the windscreen.

Installed today easy and good pictures

I purchased a 4 camera system so that I could have good visual access to the sides and rear of my truck and boat trailer. ( 40 feet long). I put one camera in the middle of the back bumper and a second on the left rear corner of the bed of my truck. I have a ARE cover so it is just inside the door on the rear. I then installed a camera on the left rear end of the trailer and a temporary camera in the middle of the swim platform on the back of the boat. (This is not a permanent mount but clamps on and can be easily removed to launch the boat.)Had no trouble with reception of the first 2 locations and the cameras produced a very clear picture night or day.I did have some slight problem with reception from the 2 rear cameras on the trailer. (They were 45 feet from the monitor and would lose contact frequently)I contacted Xroose support and they immediately sent me 2 antenna extensions which allowed me to separate the camera from the antenna and move the antenna 9 feet closer toward the truck. They did not suggest but I also purchased a 15 db gain antenna for the monitor. ($8 on Ebay)Whole system works flawlessly and I have complete visualization of every aspect of what is behind and to the side of the rear of the truck and trailer.Support was very quick to respond and to send the part and suggestions that would correct the problem

I think had these cameras had either some different mounting brackets or the ability to rotate the picture via the lens or the built in monitor 90° they would have been a success. That being said, after trying to explain to an Amazon rep multiple times and then the company (in China) I finally had to send back. I wanted these to mount to the sides of a camper. They simply are not able to accomplish that unless you do not want your picture to display upright. The top is either to the left or right. The unit will only rotate 180°, not 90°. Seems like a simple fix but I was unable to make my point with them.On the plus side the company responded fairly quickly and over multiple times. Unfortunately they use a translator program and just suggested I fabricate some special mounting hardware. I think for a small software fix or ability to rotate the lens I would have been happy with these

Plugged monitor unit in to cigarette lighter using the plug provided for the first time and smoke started coming out of the monitor unit and will not power on. I sent a email to customer suppet and have not got a response from them yet? Well see....**UPDATE***Got a response from support with in 24hrs. Support sent me a new system that arrived next day. Installed new monitor and worked great! Been using the system daily now and have not had any issues. Seams to be a great system and very easy to unstall with great customer support. Updated to 5 stars!!!

The media could not be loaded.  I have been using these for a little over a month now. When they work they are awesome, but more times than not the picture has so much delay in it, you can not back up to a trailer without the picture either freezing or the entire picture going out. There have been many times that I have had to get out and check my ball to see where it is on the trailer, whe. I get back in I can still see me in the picture 15ish seconds later. I'm using them on a 16ft enclosed trailer, the 2 side cameras work ok with about 90 percent uptime on picture. The rear camera and the one mounted to my truck are up and useful less than 50 percent of the time. All in all I'm pretty disappointed with my purchase, if they would have been in the $200 dollar range I may not have been so disappointed.Update after months of use. Only one of my cameras is working now. The other 3 are off 80 percent of the time. I have tried to rewire, run new wire and new grounds. I’m am now totally disappointed and would not recommend this product at all.** update 2/1/2022 the seller has reached out to me and asked me to change my review, this type of buying reviews to maintain an image is what lets subpar items get purchased under false pretense. I will update my review on my absolute disgust in the product, since I wrote the original review the camera system has stopped working entirely and is just a big waste of $400. Buyer beware***
