Wild Mittens and Unruly Socks: 22 Outrageously Unique Knitting Patterns

I saw a pair of socks from this book on line. The original book was written in Finnish. I was delighted to find that an English language version was available. I’ve already made two pairs of mittens and started on socks from this book.The patterns and charts are clear, and the designs are so much fun!

This book is well written and organized, and has a great variety of patterns. The great thing about charts is that the same chart used on a glove can be used on a hat, scarf or sweater.I have several patterns ear marked to begin as we slide into the colder weather. My daughters both have picked out patterns to be made for themselves.I can see myself easily knitting most of the patterns included here!

A few of the mitten patterns I saw online but did not see the written pattern until I bought the book. It was surprised to see them in the book. The sock patterns are interesting too. There are definitely some I would like to knit up. This book was well worth the money.

i haven't tried one of the patterns yet, but loved the originality and versatility of the designs already SEE a scarf for my sis with several of the motifswell-written and am looking forward to book 2 from this charmingly original designer

Creative, fun, challenging. My grown up daughters have already chosen their mittens for next ChristmasSocks too.. I have to get busy... busier

This is for an experienced fair isle knitter. However, the grafts are so beautifully designed that if you're an advanced beginner and want to get in there ~go for it! Overall, the book is worth it!

Beautiful photography and clear instructions for wonderful, whimsical mittens and socks. Good for an intermediate knitter although a confident beginner would also be able to make these.

Great, easy to use patterns had fun making the items

Bought this mainly for the “Jesus Saves” mitts which are adorable. To my delight, there are several other projects I’d like to complete in this book as well as the mitts. So glad I discovered this book. Great images and clear charts and patterns. Wish a download code was included as I use KnitCompanion on my iPad for all patterns. Just means I have to scan them to PDF first from the book so I can have them on my iPad.

was a little disappointed, that when it arrived that it wasn't a hardcover like the description said that it was, and that it only gave 1 size for the patterns instead of different sizes as I'd wanted to do some teen and child sizes in the different items, but the patterns themselves were amazing and already have the first item ready to be cast on and plan on making one pair of the socks in multiple different colours

Sehr schönes Buch mit vielen tollen Modellen. Ich kann mich nicht entscheiden was ich als erstes stricken möchte.
