The black is true to color. It fits my 9-year old who has thick hair down to her read. We ponytail then braid then tuck up in the cap. It fits well and stays in place during her swim team time in the pool. It stretches well and flattens out where needed. It doesn’t pull her hair when we take it off and is very easy to use.

I got it for my 4 year old, she has really long hair and I dindot want her to go in the pool without having them covered, the usual swimpcaps don't have enough room so there's alot of breakage. I made her wear this and it didnot cause any breakage, it sealed perfectly aswell..I would suggest that you follow the instructions, wear it with wet hair etc so it goes on smoothly.It was a bit bigger on my daughter's head but I folded it a little, since her hair is so long it wouldn't fit in any other cap,still it worked great.

The cap seems like it’s fine however it is a bit big on my step kid as his hair stop by his shoulders. There is alot of room in the cap. So would be great for kids with braids or longer hair.

This cap is amazing!! We used it for the first time today. Purchase in a small and medium for my 7 year old medium fit the best. Key is to tuck the ears inside the cap and pull over right above the eye brow and pull as far down the back of the neck below hairline. If you’re wondering this is black girl approved!!

My daughter has super thick hair that goes beyond her but .... if she lets her hair looks wearing underwear and you look at her from behind than you will see only top of her head and you won’t be able to see her but in underwear because the hair will cover it... This is just to let you know how thick and long her hair is and all that hair fit under this nice pink “swimming hat” how she calls it. We got size small and she is 5 year old. We also have a son 2 year old that loves to play in water and takes bath every single day ( 10-15min) and since those two do everything together we always had to use hot fan to dry her hair cuz if she goes a sleep with wet hair they are still wet in the morning. And I was looking for a solution that helped me not to use so much heat on that gorgeous hair cuz I wasn’t it to be healthy. And this cap solved this issue for me for little more than $12 ( that’s less than we spend in buying protection spray to use while we were blowing drying her hair. So this saved us extra money on electricity that we used and on product. I only ask myself why didn’t I buy this 3 years ago... Thus cap doesn’t let water in at all. My daughter covers her ears as well cuz she has tubes in both of them and you should keep water out of them ( which was a problem with them splashing each other). So now my daughter takes it with her when she goes to grandmas swimming pool and I don’t have to spend 20 extra minutes blow drying her hair and I’m super happy about this. I cannot tell you how much easier my life got after I got this product for her and it only cost me $12.00 cuz we got pink not the blue ( but the color doesn’t make a difference as long it’s the same shape and material) . Oh and just so you know I did try similar product year ago and it was hard to put on ad it leaked water so I was little skeptical since I thought that they all made them in the same shape and material, but I was wrong. This comes on smooth without m daughter screaming her head of and comes off the same way. And she has never told me that it was uncomfortable to wear even though I put it on few time backwards... This is one of the product that I will always have now since my daughter want to keep her hair growing and growing....So thank you guys for making my life so much easier for my family you created great product!

My daughter have a lot of hair and she can put her hair in a bun. she said it's not to tight like the others, it's comfortable for her to swim in.

My daughter is 4 and wears her hair in extensions sometimes. This is perfect! Keeps her hair dry and is easy to put on without the hassle. She goes to swimming weekly and this helps to extend her hairstyles.

Mi hija necesitaba este gorro, primero compre el mediano, le quedo grande, este el chico parece que tambien tiene problemas (deberemos ver si se logra ajustar) ya que sufre de ronqueda y problemas despues de nadar por el problema del pelo mojado y que donde nada ahi no se pueden bañar sino regresar a la casa para ello, Pero se ve bueno, esperemos dure Que es para niños, que trae medidas pero deberian dar mas informacion para poder saber cual escojer,

My 7 yr daughter has Caucasian hair in box braids down to her waste and I ordered a medium and it works fantastic! We had a small cap originally but she had too much hair and her dad accident ripped it trying to put it on. If you child has lots of hair I would recommend a medium size.
