These bowls are the perfect size for feeding my cats wet food.HOWEVER, the bowls need a thorough HAND-SCRUBBING BEFORE FIRST USE. I initially just ran them through the dishwasher on the hottest water setting. It was only after my cats had eaten from the bowls and I was wiping them out before placing in the dishwasher again that I found BLACK SMUDGES that I assume was METAL POLISH coming off onto a damp paper towel. It makes me heartsick to think my beloved kitties may have ingested something toxic.If you plan to use these bowls to serve food to humans or pets, it would be a good idea to SCRUB them thoroughly BY HAND — paying special attention to the inner and outer lip where the black gunk was particularly trapped.For this, I deducted 2 stars from my rating.

Some friends and I use these for holding various game pieces when we play tabletop games. Perfect size, compact storage.

These are great dishes. Nice size and weight! I use them for cat food bowls (we have 4 cats), but they could be used for so many things: mise en place, sauces, etc. Have run them through the dishwasher several times, and they still look brand new.

one set disappeared in the mail. have no idea where they ended up or what happened. company sent me a replacement.on arrival, theyre just so thin. even a little warping, and they dont stack well. 3 of 10 have warped.so, handle these gently. even pressing them firmly on a surface while washing them at the right angle, youll warp them.i have other stainless steel plates and bows which are a correct gage and a joy to have, use, and wash. these, i am afraid of.
