Tuf Line100 LB X 300 YD ~ TUF-XP

I have tried PowerPro and Tuf-Line and I find that while no braided line is super abrasion resistant that Tuf-line seems tougher than PowerPro. I break off far less often with Tuf-Line when sturgeon fishing.

This is the only line I put on my halibut reels. It has a small diameter so you can get lots on a reel. It is super tough. It has almost no stretch so you can really feel the bait even 300 feet deep - then when the halibut is one, you can set the hook without all that energy going into line stretch. You do have to put at least two wraps of mono line on your reel as backing or the whole spool of TUF will spin around the hub when you have a big fish on.

Outstanding product. I have been using Tuf-Line since Western Filament introduced it. Have caught many Halibut in excess of 100 lbs using it.... Tuf-Line has never let me down!

Did the job over and over again pulling in some nice feisty Chinook / Chum / Pink Salmon with a breeze. Will buy again when needed!

It's thicker than most but really strong on break point.

this line is exceptional!!! the line has a very nice round shape to it making it less prone of digging itself in but like with all braids you must put a substantial amount of tension when spooling... there is alot of reasons to as why i like this line best than other brands as to it having a rounder profile, breaking strength is more than the rating says, thinner diameter than other brand of braid 65lb = 15lb as to 65lb = 17-20lb diameter but what i like the most about it is the coating on the line is not oily or waxy... the line is slick yes but it doesnt leave residue on your guides like the waxy coating on power pro ....over all this is a great line

Good line for the money! Not as wind knotty as PP.
