Catamaran Sailing: From Start to Finish

Excellent book, easy to read and understand...informative with clear diagrams, just need the weather to warm up so we can put it all in to practice.

Having done only a beginners course before venturing out onto the open sea (with no rescue boat), I've found this book invaluable in helping to get the basics sorted and improve my cat sailing safely. Its quite wordy - but I love it for bedside reading as well as for reference after a sail to work out why things went wrong (or right). The section on tacking in a strong wind/ big seas is essential reading. The presentation of the book is quite dated - lots of Starsky look-alikes with perms - but it does have some very useful drawings. Overall - great book - don't be put of by the 70's look of it!

Great book. A must read before sailing if you are a novice catamaran sailor. Has a lot of useful information about buying a sailboat, sailing, tuning your catamaran, etc. The book is comprehension and also gives an introduction into catamaran racing. The book is well written and the pictures/figures are good.

The Book arrived in good enough time, and it is in Great shape. No complaints!

Well written, contains handy tips, all relevant subjects are covered - esp. Regatta tactics. I can just recommend this book.

Great book. Now I raced a snipe so I have an edge on sailing lingo. But a whole book of knowledge for sailing a hobie.
