This is my full disclosure so nobody Better pick on my big old but. This is for the big girl who wonders how these really fit. I'm a size 24 300lb and I planned on using nice for light leakage for bladder control.they fit Well and i got the biggest size. Not sure I would use them for a period Without a pad. They feel like regular underwear but with a couple extra layers. Not bulky at all.

(Why didn't they tell us about these in SexEd? Or even in women’s magazines?) Before trying my hand at making some, I googled to see if perhaps something like that already existed and — voilà — Amazon had several choices. Confusing choices.First off, I was looking for a panty that would provide coverage from spotting while I’m sleeping. I’m not expecting full absorption, just an extra measure of defense against spotting the sheets. Pads are fine for daytime wear, when gravity is working with you. But at night, when the body is horizontal… Well, I never knew of anything but towels, bedwetter pads or (please, god, no!) adult diapers that could protect the sheets. Especially after having a baby. Period Panties are SO much less conspicuous.So I decided to order several of the different versions offered on Amazon and see which one came closest to being my Holy Grail: Comfortable (Cotton, preferably), Not Too Ugly, and of course, Protective. After weeding out the styles that seemed to be too skimpy/daytime-only, or made of unwearable fabrics (ahem, polyester and nylon) I ended up with the ones I’m reviewing below. Their colors are noted so you can see the differences in size in the picture.A few notes:• This type of underwear is meant as a backup to pads or tampons (Except on the lightest days/nights, when leaking isn’t such an issue anyway.)• Sizing is all over the place (many brands are from Asia, and seem to run smaller than corresponding American sizes). It appears that sizes relate to underwear rather than pants, and since I wear a 7 or Large in panties (10 or 12 in pants), I went with L and XL, choosing on basis of other reviews.• And finally, I am more sensitive than most people to fabrics and stitching, and have a strong bias toward all-cotton clothing.Intimate Portal Women Total Leak Proof: 2XL (Dark Blue) - I’m not a fan of granny panties, but these ended up being the clear winner for the purpose. With their high back, they felt the most secure for sleeping. The high-cotton (95% Cotton, 5% Elastane) is comfortable, however the leakproof liner doesn't "breathe," so that area is a bit warmer than I'd like. Despite the lacy touches, they are certainly not going to feature in Victoria’s Secret any time soon. But then, I’m not feeling too sexy at that time of the month, anyway. The biggest surprise was how BIG (2XL?!?) I had to order to get a decent fit. Especially if I’m going to wear a pad, too.Intimate Portal Women Cotton Leak Proof: L (peach) - I really thought these would be the winner. And if I order two sizes up, they’ll have a chance for daytime use. The 95% Cotton 5% Spandex fabric is lightweight and soft, the wide waistband felt like it would stay up, and the stitching is about as comfortable as one can find in underwear. The cut is more youthful (meaning the waist is not as high) than the Total style so they are probably more suited to wearing as a backup to pads/tampons during your upright hours.BFF Period Undies: L (black) and XL (beige) - The 95% Cotton 5% Spandex fabric is lightweight and soft. But the stitching is scratchy. This one proved to be too skimpy for night wear — the low-rise rear being my main complaint. There’s just not enough there for me to trust that I wouldn’t leak out the top of the back waist. That said, the sportier (more youthful) cut would make these a viable option for wearing with low-waisted pants. As for sizing, the XL “fit”, but I suspect panty lines will show. And the elastic doesn’t feel like it will actually stay in place when I’m out running around. I foresee a lot of panty picking and pulling if I wear them.Undiepads Disposable Panties: L/XL (pink) - These are the most adult-diaperish of the bunch. No surprise, since they are disposable. The body is made of a papery, ribbed elastic and the liquid-proof (noisy) pad extends only partially up the back (like the badly misnamed “overnight” menstrual pads offered by the feminine protection products industry). The pad ripped away from the crotch within minutes of putting them on. FAIL.So that’s my take on fit and appropriateness of these period panty styles for night use. If it helps you save some time and money, then I’ve done a service to The Sisterhood.

I have now purchased four different brands of protective panties. There are some things to really like about these. They are by far the prettiest. They look in every way like attractive panties. The lace detail is really nice, and they are also the only ones that I have found that have the protective layer in the same color as the rest of the panty. Every other brand seems to be contrasting so it stands out. However, there are two things that would stop me from buying them again. One, they are quite short. The fit is good as far as width goes, and the leg holes fit fine. They fit as expected and exactly the same as my other panties. But they are pretty low. If you're slim or have a flat tummy, you'll have no issue with these. However, I imagine that anyone with a mom pooch will find they sit low, under that pouch. Secondly, they're the only ones that have raveled to date. I hand wash all my intimates and the threads raveled in the second hand washing. They are quite good at being protective and I've never leaked through them. If you are slimmer and can believe the thread was a fluke, they may be perfect for you.

Wore them for three minutes and they already soaked through. Completely useless. Save your money.

I purchased these with a sad heart, not wanting to confirm that I had reached the "weak bladder muscles" time. So I ordered these after reading reviews. I'm 69,very petite, #112, but do NOT have that nice tight BUTT I used to have, and I DETEST panty lines. I ordered MED., and PERFECT! Did not want tightness at the waist, and there is a bit of lace at the bottom of the panty on the back, so it diffuses the panty line. I wore them while I gardened all day, and forgot I had them on. I think they are going to be one of my favorite purchases.

They kind of fits, they do stay in place (not rolling down) and not make me feel like an over stuffed sausage, the sizes do not reflect most American plus size shop at all. Be aware that i consider their 6x to be Torrid/ Lane Bryant/ Avenue size 24-26ish.

These panties fit true to size & are very comfortable. I bought them because my flow seems to travel up & down the eastern seaboard even while I'm sitting still. I'm wearing them now at work as a matter of fact. They have already protected my light grey pants from a big stain in the back. I tested the fabric this morning on another pair that I bought (I ordered three pairs to be safe) with a tablespoon of water. The inner material really is waterproof. It's terrific. I'm using pads with the panties. I'm very pleased with my purchase because these panties give me peace of mind during my period. I no longer have to wear one pad in the front & another one behind it to avoid leaks. I'd buy these again & recommend them to a friend. My only concern is that the waterproof fabric doesn't come all the way to the front waistline of the panties. But other than that they're great.

Underwear are pretty as well as helpful. Fit well too. Nice product. I would order again if the need arises.

Je vous confirme que ces culottes sont vraiment parfaite pour les règles j'ai pu les tester pendant une semaine et vraiment toutes les fuites ne sont pas passés sur mon jean super lorsque nous sommes au bureau libre et que chaque personne peut s'asseoir sur ta chaise plus besoin de faire la technique des deux serviettes superposer ( Si toi aussi tu te reconnait dans cette technique hésite pas sur cet achat) :)

Bought two pairs of these after I kept having accidents on my partners (stupidly expensive) bed. Despite wearing Extra protection night pads there was constantly annoying leakage. Was expecting them to be weird, waterproof style pants. So when I got them and discovered how normal they seemed I was concerned if wasted my cash. But so far so good, no leakage!! I will stress that these are not a substitute for pads, you need to wear pads/tampons with them. While they are a weirdish material, they are not uncomfortable and fit well. I dare say they even accommodate my period bloat-belly without cutting into my gut, yay! Plus they look decent, not the huge granny pants I was expecting haha. If you are prone to leaking (and ruining your nice underwear), these are definitely for you.

Je suis fan de ces culottes qui à défaut d'être très esthétiques sont très confortables et remplissent bien leur fonction.Je les porte la nuit sans aucune autre protection et je n'ai jamais eu d'accident. Mon flux est néanmoins léger donc je pense qu'il faut mieux les utiliser en complément d'une autre protection pour les flux abondants.Le tissu est très agréable et elles se rincent très facilement à l'eau froide qui fait partir toutes les traces de sang. Un simple lavage en machine suffit après pour les rendre comme neuves.
