This unit provides a very good quality of light, one is suitable for a lightly to medium planted tank, and two would be enough for even the most thickly vegetated tanks to thrive.Colour temperature is a good mix of neutral white and blue LEDs for "day", and the "dusk" setting uses just the blue LEDs for a darker tank (a good colour and brightness for most catfish).Very happy with this light, had it several months in daily use and has remained faultless. Note however that the light bar is NOT water tight, it may be fine with a light spray from bursting bubbles, but anything heavier or directed (heavy spray from filter pump outlet / water feature) should probably be best avoided if possible.

Bought to light our 1m Rena which is heavily planted.Absolutely Brilliant vfm! Easy to set up, install and use!Really rugged and bright.Highly recommended.Unfortunately, there is no option to show images.Update after one week:Tank looks great, fish are happy and plants are doing good too!

Fab light, nice and bright lovely blue light too, like that it sits above the tank a bit and it's super easy to put on and very secure when it's on.

I'm really surprised with the quality of light from this. I ha e planted a new aquarium so will update about plant growth but first impressions seems great.
