Great toy for little ones who want to build "real" things
I gave this toy to my 3 year old son on his birthday because he loves the concept of building things that are "real," which he cannot do with basic Melissa & Doug-type "tool" sets. This set includes a hammer and screwdriver. The screwdriver isn't really needed because the screws have nuts that he can tighten by hand. But,the hammer is used frequently because the rods offer just enough resistance to small hands to often require actual hammering (I can do it all using just my hands, but he requires the hammer). He cannot build the pictured building ideas without my help, but we love doing them together. He finds the pieces and works on fitting them together as I interpret the instructions for him. He was delighted this morning that the boat we built actually floated upright correctly. He also really enjoys just randomly fitting the pieces together and "inventing" things on his own and tried very hard to make the gears work together. The only real limitation - if it is one - is that often the gears in the pictured builds don't function as gears and are largely decorative. He finds this somewhat confusing and frustrating as his understanding of gears is that they are functional. But it's a great toy and he plays with it almost daily. We'll definitely be buying a larger set in the future.

I love this model
I’m still learning how to put models together but I managed this one and it looks great. Very cool!

Garbage
Complete junk. I wish I would have seen reviews like this before purchasing. Literally within 15 minutes heads were off and legs were not far behind. I won’t return because my kids won’t part with them but I’m so disappointed in this garbage quality.

Pretty Well Made and Very Stable
We got this for my 4 year old son, along with the matching trailer. He's average size for his age and I was a little disappointed that the seat had to be set only one spot away from the farthest setting. He will probably be too big for it after 2 years.Mostly metal construction. It comes in about as many pieces as possible with adequate assembly instructions. You'll need some mechanical ability to assemble and a fair amount of time. The wrenches they supply for the nuts and bolts are pretty useless (as expected). Steering assembly is partially plastic and this is where I fear the most likely failure will be, like from a hard impact. I greased every moving joint when I assembled it even though the instructions didn't recommend it. It can't hurt. After about 2 months of extensive use, it's holding up real well. The turning radius is much larger than I expected but the benefit to this is that he's getting real good at K-turns. It's also geared lower than I expected, and I'm glad for that. This allows him to go up moderate inclines and even pedal on a short bit of grass.I thought the pedal/gear assembly looked a bit weak and it'll be a pain to get it back out to reweld if/when needed. The chain adjustment was a challenge, actually it was making sure the six fasteners were properly torqued is what was not easy (tight space). Take the time to do it right. The electric units look like they're a lot of fun but I can't bring myself to getting one for the simple reason that there's no exercise involved in using them. Our little boy gets a great workout with his tractor and he absolutly loves it.

Nice but a bit heavy and takes very broad turns
Nice but a bit heavy and takes very broad turns. Only one wheel moves the tractor and that was worrying me at first but it's doesn't seem to be a problem. My kid doesn't play with it as much as his bike. Assembly takes a while but is reasonable. Definitely well built unlike many toys today.

but it's exactly what I needed at a good price. I much prefer these over spindles
Okay, it's just a big plastic spool, but it's exactly what I needed at a good price. I much prefer these over spindles, because they take up line faster and are easier to hold. All of my kite lines are now on spools; they're even easier to stow in the gear bag.

Great size, colors and durability
I got this for our wedding party. They lasted long enough after the party ended and even for another day. The colors are bright and beautiful. We even had spare sticks. The size is great for adults and kids. Everyone liked and they look beautiful

Good Sturdy Tractor
Well bulit and I'm sure will last for years of play. Easy to put together. It even comes with some speciality tools to help. It does have very wide turning radius so not good in tight spots. Overall I would highly reccomend this product.
